wadsy
someone just told me that a double is only good for 60 days all together. this cant be right?thanks Not true, my understanding is 60 days for first entry and 60 days for second entry. Dunno if its possible, and maybe you can confirm with Sunbelt this, that you can extend each 'entry' by 30 days by applying for an extension at your local immigration office (TM7) at the end of each 60 day period (1900 baht cost) in theory giving you 2 x 90 days? As I said, perhaps Sunbelt can confirm or refute this.
lopburi3
For most passport holders you receive 60 days for each entry and each entry can be extended one time for 30 days. Some passports only receive 30 days for a tourist visa entry.
wpcoe
Some passports only receive 30 days for a tourist visa entry. Can that 30-day tourist visa be extended twice for two more 30-day periods = 90 days?
lopburi3
That was my understanding but recent Sunbelt post said in the case of Indian passport no extensions were allowed so not really sure. Have not seen any notice in English about this new policy but there have been enough reports to confirm that there is such a 30 day tourist visa entry now.
