Seven people were charged with drug and prostitution offenses after police raided the 527 Massage Shop in Russey Keo district in Phnom Penh. District police officer Um Sophal said those arrested on Tuesday were shop boss Ith Sreymeas, 21, manager Sor Soun, 54, and masseuses Vun Sreypao, 41, Chum Pheap, 30, Chea Sokvean, 27, Ry Srey Oun, 31, and Sok Ny, 30.  
 

He said Ms. Sreymeas and Mr. Suon were charged with procurement of prostitution and drug trafficking, while the masseuses were accused of drug use.   “They were arrested while some of masseuses were having sex with their clients and other masseuses were smoking drugs inside their rooms,” he said.
 

Police seized 10 small packages of crystal methamphetamine as well as other drug-using material from the shop rooms. They also confiscated used and unused condoms from masseuses’ rooms.
