Asiana Airline Reviews?

Featured Replies

I am considering trying Asiana business from BKK to LAX via ICN.

Anyone flown them?

How is the entertainment?

I assume I'll use the Thai lounge in BKK, but what about ICN & LAX, do they have a nice lounges?

Thanks

Well I guess I'll find out Saturday, went ahead and booked it.

777 BLK to ICN and A380 ICN to LAX. Just hoping the movie selection is okay.

Well, check-in was a breeze as was security and immigration.

Asiana uses the Evergreen lounge which is nice enough. Nice booze & food selection including a few Pizza Company offerings, dim-sum, nice fruit bar (including fresh coconut) and a few flavors of Magnum ice cream bars. Along with more standard fare.

So far, so good.

B767-300 service from BKK to ICN was okay, nice seats, good service, decent breakfast. Nice (albeit limited) entertainment. Hope there're more movies on the next leg.

Less than five minutes to get through security and another five to get to the lounge.

Lounge is big and comfortable, food & booze looks good.

A380 service from ICN to LAX was great. Nice seats and nice entertainment system with many more movies available than on the first leg. That said, the selection is nothing like Emirates.

Service and food were both great. I had the second best steak I've had in the air.

Everything that went with it was good to.
