Authorities confident Dhammachayo does not have passport

BANGKOK: -- There is a high possibility that Phra Dhammachayo, the fugitive honorary abbot of Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani province, is still in Thailand given there is no record of him being issued a passport, said Justice Minister Suwaphan Tanyuvardhana on Tuesday.

 

Suwaphan said the passport issuance would have to be approved by the ecclesiastical provincial governor of Pathum Thani. 

He said while it was likely the Phra Dhammachayo was no longer at the sprawling temple, security personnel would remain stationed around the temple’s compound because it had been declared a controlled area under the all-powerful Article 44 of the interim charter.

 

The Department of Special Investigation is still evaluating the situation at the temple, he said, while the National Office of Buddhism remains in charge of Buddhist discipline and governance affairs there.

But if he does, it can be cancelled, right? 

 

It must be easy enough to check if he has a current passport. It's either yes or no. You have all the records. Unless there's corruption afoot.

'Like he needs one... doesn't he have magical powers that mystify the RTP and if so, would he be any match for the Immigration officers...

 

Such a farce, why cover this, the conclusion has already been "divined by baht."

How can they not know if he has a passport or not, especially if it is in his name and a real passport. Of course with the kind of money he has at his disposal he would have created a fake passport and would of flown out in a private plane. They pretty much gave him the agenda of when they were going to move in on his temple, so he had ample time to get the hell out of Dodge. Purely comical Thailand.

How the hell would they know if he had a PP or not...have they asked him?...oooh hang on a minute...they can't find him.... after what..two months of "looking" 

He doesn't need a passport, it was explained already:

 

- He can walk on water so can possibly cross any river, ocean by foot

- He can make himself invisible: very convenient at border check point (I do it all the time to play with officers)...

they couldn't find him when they knew where he was.... whatthe hell does he need a passport for..? And with a few bill in his pocket he'd get easy enough..." what colour sir?"

While they want break his sect down they don't really want deal with arrest and legal battle .

He not going need a passport to border hop and easy enough get a false one if wants go further with sects likely connections and cash .

Total dribble from start to finish ... a 12yr old from alaska could give a better likely scenario on his location than these top thai twits ...

Confident ,That just means that they don't know.They should know if he has a legal passport .If he hasn't he will have a False one & he be gone.They should have got him on day one, he would not have had the chance to disappear.

My guess is he is not here in Thailand and can easily get another passport from another country Just buy it 

 

 

Good luck finding him

No passport?  It's amazing what large sum of money can get for you.  Enough money and you can get citizenship in another country.  A Thai passport is a moot point. 

 

Doesn't need one.

 

He is able to "Spirit Exchange" with other individuals around the world so that his body remains in Thailand while his consciousness inhabits a body in another country.

 

The police will have a strange time talking to him if they find him during the next week, they will find themselves interviewing a publican from Nuneaton.

 

After that he is going to spend a bit of time as a driver on "Metro Valparaiso".

 

He told me his plans a couple weeks ago (while he was occupying the body of a door to door electrical appliance salesman).

I'm sure they are wrong !! He'll have a passport okay that I'm sure but whether it's legal I would doubt. I'm sure he's been out if the country on many occasions !

The authorities now reveal they don't know whether their main Bogeyman has a passport or not!??!  After how many months of playing with posses of Keystone Kops, blustering with all sorts of legal threats and reports of their plans to take down this dangerous abbott and his minions? And the authorities want to highlight their "competence" by spending billions on submarines to play with?  Who else can enjoy free soap opera farce as part of society's daily public entertainment?

It gets worse, they now think they at capable of building robotic bomb detectors when the humans can not even detect a Monk !!!

From the same government that was" convinced" that he was in the temple.

Any fool can get out of the country with no passport, it's not an island.
