Video: Two Thai trucks - are they in love.... or just annoying!

BANGKOK: -- Dash cam footage has been posted on Facebook that shows two large Thai trucks hogging both lanes of a two lane road.

 

No one can get past and the road ahead is quite clear as the two vehicles seem to be exchanging sweet nothings, reported Manager Online.

 

The poster of the clip - "Pharithus Theethong" can be heard to comment: "So you wanna be famous...here you go!" as he films from a

dash cam in his vehicle.

 

Manager Online said that driving behavior like this was annoying.....and surmised that perhaps the drivers were having a chat together.

 

The footage had a date from years ago but Thai Rath said it was posted after the incident occurred at 4pm on Sunday on the road between Ban Bung and Phan Thong in Chonburi.

just a couple of knuckle head drivers chatting , playing games together while driving , probably young guys ... mid twenties ...

Just that the driver does not have enough power to pass,

and the other driver is not going to slow down,to let him.

rival trucking companies,who knows.

Yes, highly annoying if you're not on a bike yourself, 10.- THB each case one comes across in say a decade and you could call me 'squareface'.

 

Get a (traffic) po-lice that's worth the name (and salary), film them for proof & fine them accordingly ... works well in plenty other places ...

Sorry, we are in Thailand, "young guys" means mid forties...

are  they  allowed  in the outside  lane?

Just two lanes? The four or five lanes at the Chonburi intersection of highway 7 are more often than not occupied by buses and trucks side by side. 

Why do we have to watch 6 year old videos? Surely you can subject us to something more relevant, such as the establishment of Happy Zones just two days from now?

nothing out of the ordinary here,seen it a million times before.

Truck on the right lane ? 1 bullet between both eyes, and let's see if he will do it again !

 

 

If either backed off it would be a serious loss of face.
