A GOLD Coast company has reported an increase of 130 per cent in women travelling to Thailand for “mummy makeovers” in the past year.

 

More than 500 Australian women have travelled with Broadbeach based CosMediTour to Thailand in the past 12 months to undergo a mummy makeover which includes breast surgery with implants and a lift and tummy tuck.

 

CosMediTour spokeswoman Ebony Camille said it was fast becoming one of the most in demand procedures for Australian women.

The living proof, if it were needed that the feminist crusade for "equality" still has a long way to go.

 

I don't know for whom to feel most sorry  - the silly women who queue up for unnecessary and potentially risky surgery or the men who encourage their foolishness by picking up the tab.

 

They clearly have more money than sense.
