Jeremy Gatine was given his phone back at a press conference held at the Metropolitan Police Bureau. The press conference was held to announce the arrest of three Cambodians and a Thai who had allegedly stolen mobile phones by cutting off waterproof sleeve bags from their victims at major Songkran celebration sites in the capital. Gatine said he would like to thank the Thai police for their speedy apprehension of the suspects. He added that he was delighted to get his phone back because it stored key contact information. April 19, 20179 yr If it was a Thai persons phone we wouldn't have this song and dance. It is just a BS Public relations stunt to suggest foreigners are being looked after.
April 19, 20179 yr That police chief needs to spend more time doing his job, than prancing around in front of the cameras. Such a pathetic waste of police time. When i had my phone stolen the police would not even write out a report, let alone have most of the bosses there for a bloody photo shoot.
