thehelmsman
I'm new to Ban Chang and am looking for a playground to take 5 yr. old. Just left a small Isaan village where the kids played freely on our small dirt soi. We now live in an apartment and need to get the kid out and play. jacobsladder
Om Payoon Road between Sukhumwit and the bypass there is a playground (but watch out for the read ants), a playground and a pool. On the west side nearer the bypass. Edited May 19, 2017 by jacobsladder

Also, as the OP is now a lot nearer the sea than in Isaan, I have it on good authority that children quite like beaches. Phala is the best of those near Banchang Edited May 19, 2017 by Eff1n2ret

The other ones are smaller neighborhood playgrounds I have found that are suitable for five year old kids.
