Five Lat Phrao police officers removed after illegal casino raid

Five police officers of Lat Phrao police station from the superintendent down to the inspector were abruptly transferred to inactive posts in the operations centre of the 4th division of Metropolitan Police Bureau following a raid of an illegal casino in Lat Phrao area on Tuesday night in which 101 gamblers, including over a dozen of foreigners, were rounded up.

Wissanu denies knowledge of resumption of military trials for civilians

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam on Wednesday said he did not know whether the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) would bring security-related cases against civilians to the Military Court using Article 44 of the interim charter as has been speculated.

Too many ministers and too many changes: Education reform ‘has gone nowhere’
