Can I use the confirmation paper from university for work permit?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and well I joined it because I saw there is a lot of valuable information on it. I do have a question regarding the work permit. I know one of the requirements is a university degree. I graduated this week with a bachelor degree in information technology from a Croatian university. Not sure how it is with other universities but at my university first you get a paper that confirms that you have graduated from it and with what degree but you don't actually get the degree yet. I have to wait about 4-5 months to get the real degree. So my question is could I get a work permit with that paper that confirms that I have graduated from university or do I need to have the actual degree?

Not all types of work in Thailand need a university degree. Does your prospective employer in Thailand make degree a requirement for the job?

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

If you want a job in IT you need experience too.

Well most of the jobs that I saw do require at least a bachelor's degree, but well I made an agreement with the dean that they will print my degree sooner.

Yes, I know that I do have a little bit of experience but nothing much because there aren't many IT jobs in the area where I live, most of the work I did was work as a  Technical Support at call center and 2nd level support in a telecommunications company.
