BANGKOK: -- Deputy Prime Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan was back to work at the Defense Ministry today after having recovered from his sickness.

He chaired the meeting of the Defence Council to assess the recent unrest situation, including the bomb attack at the Phramongkutklao hospital.

In a brief interview before chairing the security meeting, Gen Prawit declined entire in his sickness following unconfirmed reports that he suffered from coronary artery disease.

On the hospital bombing, Gen Prawit only said that security authorities have questioned 40-50 people but still could not establish the actual cause.

He said authorities still need to question hospital staff.

I thought for sure under the circumstances he went up the mountain like Moses and brought back the 10 or so commandments that we must all live by but then they have been already pronounced to the people in one way or another. I wonder if the word Democracy appears on the tablets. Yes Prawit looks exhausted they must have been heavy.

Meniere's disease my eye. And I doubt it's coronary heart disease either.

Must be pay day I think If you are sick you should retire. Everybody is replaceable.

They haven't questioned the hospital's staff yet????

Just at the same time as something else happened??????

Looks like he was poisoned. But of course that would puncture a hole in the junta's "aura of invincibility"...
