Immigration Department to revamp its organization framework next year

BANGKOK: -- Immigration Department will adjust immigration procedures to improve their services.

Pol.Lt.Gen.Suwat Thamrongsrisakul Immigration Department Director-General said next year the immigration department will restructure the immigration process for Thai travellers by using the autogate database system.

The Director-General said that 25 percent of travellers consist of Thais. The Immigration Department plans to reduce the number of Thai passengers crowding at the Suvannabhumi Airport therefore a process enabling fast track services will be provided to travellers soon.
