90 day report

Featured Replies

Hi, I will do my 90 day report in the end of this week. That's about 5 days later than my date (which is ok) But I have done it on-line every time before so I have a question. Do I need anything else than my passport, departure-card & last 90 day report when I go to Chaeng Wattana??

There is nothing more that will be needed.

Thank you joe

I do mine by mail, and had been under the assumption it had to be postmarked 15 days ahead of due date. Is this correct? If not, how far ahead of time do I need a postmark? Thanx.

If reporting to Chaeng Wattana immigration they want it to be mailed no later than 15 days before. You could mail it a few days before the 15 days but I would not suggest mailing it where it would arrive earlier than the 15 days before.

At other offices they only require it to arrive prior to 7 days before the report date.

Many thanks. I use Chiang Mai, so you're saying they should receive it no later than 7 days prior to report date -- and not just postmarked  7 days prior?

Not sure about CM immigration but in this topic on the CM forum. https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/557382-90-day-report-procedures/  it says this.

Mail in - 15 days before with no late window allowed.

It varies by office as to when they want it received but the official rule is 7 days before the report date.. For example the office here will accept them up to the report date.

Yeah, that's the advice I have been following, never sure whether "15 days before" was literal, or meant when postmarked. So, to be safe, I've mailed it EMS 17 business days ahead. No real biggy, except CMI has efficiently turned it around, thus effectively turning my 90 day reporting cycle into an 80 day cycle.
