There are dozens of people on those cliffs every day.  I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

Lead fall pulling off the belayer? They may have more guts than skill,

best to hire a local guide. (Sorry I thought they got arrested for something after the rescue my bad).

It's a pity the Gazette can't tell the difference between an Austrian and an Australian.

Just vacationed in Austria. One of their best selling tshirts is a shirt that has a photo of a kangaroo and then states "no kangaroos in Austria". Guess a lot of tourists get it wrong and ask about the Kangaroos. Cheers

Simple, an Austrian when he arrives in Australia becomes an Australian.

When asked where he was from, an Austrian said, "Austria" they thought it was Australia and they said to him "you got a funny accent". He answered, "yes, everyone in Australia has funny accent".

Oh, before I forget, an Austrian when he emigrates to USA he becomes the governor of California. Just ask Arnold Swazennager all right?

Does anyone have further information regarding this accident? The spot it was in, how the accident occurred?

There was a follow up article in one of the Krabi Thai web news sources that implied the park service has responded with some kind of guiding requirements or other restrictions. I'd also like to get the info on that.

Thanks very much!
