Featured Replies

Hello, i am 52, i live with Visa O-A , retirement here since 20 month, .....i have filipina GF, she is 40 yo.

How to make it possible that she can stay without leaving , when we marry, does she get "the same visa " as i have ?

Thank you for your answers.

If you change from visa entries to annual extensions of stay for the reason of retirement your wife can get her own annual extensions on the basis of being your wife.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

He doesn't need to change to annual extensions, his wife can get an extension as a dependent based on his permission to stay from his Non Immigrant OA visa.

The first step of applying for an extension as your dependent your wife will need to go to a nearby embassy or consulate to get a single entry non-o visa.

Unless you get married here your marriage certificate will need to be legalized by an embassy or the the authority that issued it to apply for the extension.
