Type O non-immigrant visa need to register with immigration?

Featured Replies

I arrived on July 8th on a 90 day Type O non-immigrant visa, with intentions of converting it to a 1 year marriage visa. We have rented a house, and it is in my name. Do I need to register with immigration now? If so, what is the process?

Thanks!

There is no conversion to a 1 year marriage visa possible. I assume you mean applying for a one year extension of stay (it is not visa) based upon marriage

There is no registration at immigration.

Dependent upon the immigration office you use they may want a TM30 form from the owner of where you are living to report your presence.

No they don't ask for one.

Ubonjoe, I was going to ask a similar question about Udon Thani immigration if they require TM30?

I don't recall any reports of them asking for one.
