No official figures, no named providers, no evidence it’s widespread… but apparently they’ve got the daily rental rates nailed down. 😂 13,000 baht a day? Bloody hell. At that price I’d expect her to come with roadside assistance, annual servicing and a full tank. 😂

Personal opinion the Thai government did the right thing...

I can't believe there's a picture of her spunk encrusted leggings. This is the weirdest story I've read in a month of Sundays. Good for her for dragging this swine out into the light instead of letting him hide behind 'discretion'. Full marks to the crew's handling of the situation.

Being against the situation in Gaza does not give anyone the right to go assaulting random Israelis. Please prosecute and deport and ban the individual from the country. And it's no one's business where anyone is from. People should not be responding to random strangers asking where you are from.

"biggest problem for foreigners who struggle in Thailand is money." Wow. What insight this person has. 😄
  6. BritManToo
Look at the state of him, and only 50 years old!
  7. SAFETY FIRST
Ha ha, that's the way, plead ignorance. Smart enough to property develop, not smart enough to know basics laws 😂

It seems to be that Jacob is a racist and a pig and a snowflake, and simply could not handle the idea of a business owner supporting the Palestinian people. Very typical of a lot of Israelis who tend to be quite provincial in their outlook and very intolerant of people who don't obey their country's narrative. I'm a Jew and I support the Palestinian cause, and would be very proud to display their flag. Jacob needs to get a life and stop being a weak and pathetic victim.

This is a concept known as blowback, they belong to a nationality that's extremely unpopular these days and there are ramifications. When you come from a nation where the majority of the population serves in the army and commits atrocities against a defenseless civilian population including women and children, there's bound to be some blowback. This appears to be a private part and all owners have the right to refuse admission to anybody they like.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to travel to the USA now?

So they are suggesting some Thai women enter into relationships for money? I wonder how many Viet women marry broke and homeless men!
  12. riverhigh
Let me repeat the Thai ministers statement: "We definitely welcome tourists of all nationalities, but on the principle that they must respect and comply with our culture and laws". This applies to ALL nationalities and cannot be considered a case of anti-Semitism.

    Trump is the national emergency.

A lifetime of rice soup, coming up. Please, no prisoner exchange or amnesty let him rot in the Bangkok Hilton.

Nothing says relaxing holiday like a bloke with a microphone asking if you’re having FUN every 30 seconds. 😂

An opportunity to test those new quick deportation laws!
  17. GoodieAfterDark
Clearly another case of anti-Semitism. God's chosen people shall stay strong. All the God's chosen people from Patong shall unite and fight together.
  18. DonniePeverley
Literally every man and his dog knew the rules. Don't act stupid.
  19. Muhendis
And therein lies the problem. If you are taught that you are special then you will feel that everyone else is un-special. Such arrogance leads to antisocial behaviour and you get problems. There is not too much humility if you are a "chosen" one.

honor among thieves eh? all parties knew exactly what they were up to. anyway, ignorance is not a legal defense.
  21. Upnotover
Whilst, assuming guilty, he certainly deserves punishment but it would be interesting to learn about the legal processes that ended up with the fine and jail sentence within a matter of 48 hours.
  22. charmonman
1000-3000 baht? That won’t get you much in Pattaya these days.
  23. marin
What is the point of this speculation. Nobody knows anything now other than 7 are tragically dead, and many wounded including at least one critically. No reason at all for speculation at a time like this.

It is the responsibility of the establishment to pay its staff. That's part of the cost of running a business, and it should be included in the price of the meal. What's next: The restaurant adding rent and electricity to the bill? Anyway, if it's mandatory, it's not a tip. Restaurants just want to be able to show lower prices on their menus, but if the price excludes staff compensation, then they are being deceitful. I would never eat at a restaurant that tries to guilt customers into paying its staff's salaries on top of the price of the meal.

I am American and I am Jewish. While i draw a distinction between individuals and government, I can't get too upset about this. Israelis can't support or toleerate their government practicing apartheid and genocide and expect to be welcome all over the world.

Indeed, and don't forget the scamming as just happened for example in Hua Hin with expats who thought that they were allowed to bought a house.. It are just as in the article some real stories, which makes Thailand a non go tourist destination for many people. There is also a hunt for wrongdoing on foreigners, as many are fined for vaping, driving without an helmet or driving license on a motorbike, etc while the local population is being left alone... Corruption and a failing institution to enforce the laws are the cause of it. It is not not bashing but just reality, sadly enough

"Ms Pimpaporn said cabin crew questioned Mr Ali, initially in Arabic, and that he first denied the allegation before admitting his conduct. She said he cried, knelt and asked for forgiveness, while several people believed to be travelling with him as part of a Pakistani tour group also asked her to let him go." I have an immediate dislike for this Pakistani group. This group feels their religion is superior and above the law. They do not respect the rights of the Thai.

What an embarrassment America has become. Sinking lower and lower with each petulant tantrum. Laughing stock of the world, and it'll take a long time to come back from it and regain any semblance of respect.

the best thing would be to stay in your home country and try to fight the humanitarian catastrophe and war crimes in gaza, for which your government bears responsibility ... if you need a holiday, just go to the usa ... maga will be happy to have you there ...

Iran is bypassing Trump and negotiating directly with Oman to secure a commercial shipping route. They will soon negotiate with the other GCC countries and even EU to find common grounds. Iran rejecting direct talks with USA as they don't trust Trump. No countries will ever trust Trump's USA.

Very handy as it is all in Thai.. Not possible to translate to English.. The EN button doesn't work and also the right mouse button can't translate the survey....

As one hooker said to me, "It doesn't matter how rich, intelligent or powerful a man is, if you learn to tickle his balls the right way, he'll do whatever you want" And I think she's right about most white western men who have been deprived of frequent sex most of their lives.
  35. SBNZ
Foreign idiots like this are becoming a real problem. With more stories of foreigners behaving badly and actually threatening or assaulting Thais, it will make more Thais look at us with suspicion. As such, idiots like this need to be dealt with quickly and appropriately - and kicking them out of the country really does seem like the best and easiest solution.
  36. Old Croc
If idiots are allowed to put childish stamps and stickers in official passports molehills will become mouintains.

More reason to get rid of Infantino. Association with Trump is the kiss of death.

Sorry, but chasing the fountain of youth at your age is a fool's errand... don't be deluded. However, the hospital/private clinic that sold the dream to just get money should also answer for their misdeeds. Cheap deals have a quality all of their own... stop chasing impossible things deluded grandma.

Funny that the comments aren't that it's incorrect but that it doesn't cost that much.

At Bht 50 000 a month all expenses paid, there would be thousands line-up offering their services.
  41. newbee2022
Well, that's what happened during their Gaza revenge war already by killing around 70.000 people. That's around 40 per day. This murder state should be sanctioned by the world, even US

13 hours, 32,540 baht, multiple rounds for the entire bar… and then the final straw was apparently being told “no” by the girl. 😂 That’s not a bar bill. That’s 13 hours of very expensive emotional investment.
  44. newbee2022
What is that? I think it's a modern word for losers. No job at home Not eager to work daily 8-5 No education No money Scrap the DTV visa for all of them❗

"...officers would first seek mediation between the parties, which he described as normal procedure..." Here's a cultural lesson for foreigners! What Ms Pimpaporn describes fits multiple Thai Penal Code offences, including: Section 278 / 279 — indecent acts without consent Section 276 — sexual assault (depending on evidence) Section 282 — obscene acts in public Section 391 — causing humiliation or distress These are criminal offences, not civil disputes. In most countries criminal offences belong to the state, not the victim. Police must investigate. Prosecution proceeds regardless of victim preference. And victims cannot “drop charges”. In Thailand, criminal offences technically belong to the state, but in practice, police treat many offences as victim‑driven. If the victim wants compensation as Ms Pimpaporn has indicated, police often adjust their behaviour accordingly. While this is not how the law is written, it’s how the system functions! And this is why Lt Col Konkong would say “mediation is normal procedure”. It's also why “denied entry” was used instead of "arrested", it keeps the suspect in Thailand just long enough for mediation, but not long enough to require remand hearings.

Very sad that one single person can make such decisions in the US and that in the republican party there is nobody with influence trying to stop this.

Pork chops..... A few good quality steaks or lobster would do it in Phuket. And Muslims have been known to drink alcohol, they built a causeway to Bahrain to facilitate it!

Comedy gold this one from Senator Kelly

It says an awful lot about contemporary society that young people with virtually nothing to say can create a YouTube or Tiktok channel and get tens of thousands of followers. In some cases hundreds of thousands. I have a friend who's a "YouTube influencer" and creates the most dull videos about changing the oil in his bike, and eating in a new restaurant and other incredibly inane and super uninteresting topics. And he has tens of thousands of "followers". It is certainly a bizarre world that we live in these days, and it seems to me that the standards are lower than ever.

A ladyboy from Saudi. Let that soak in. The trans people in Saudi Arabia are routinely killed. I feel sorry for this person, but this is what the "religion of peace" does. And they will go international to do it to save face.
