    Big question to ask is your wife in the grey economy? Does she pay SSO for example? Or is she cash in hand..

    Theres a lounge where you can smoke charging 1500 baht (or use priority pass), obviously someone not getting thier cut!!

    Theres a lounge you can smoke in at concourse D, they charge 1500 for entry but I use priority pass to enter.

    I opened a limited company WISE account in UK, then added my personal account under Thai address, no problems in 4 years.

    The royal decree a few years ago put the onus on the employer to notify the Labour Department within 15 days.. I know this as I tried to cancel a work permit back in 2021 but was turned away, they were not interested.. I still have the old work permit book and had since received a digital work permit. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

    There is a rule that the laptop must not be worth more than 40'000 THB if you want it to get through Customs easily... If it is worth more than 40'000 THB you may need an import licence and/or type approval.. I bought a Galaxy Book 4 edge from Ebay and it flew through customs.. it cost $1000 only.. I was aware of the 40K THB rule..
