Berlin Pride Cancelled After Vehicle Hits Crowd

Several people were injured at Berlin's annual Pride celebrations on Saturday after a vehicle reportedly drove into a crowd near Tiergarten park, according to police.

Vehicle Incident at Pride Event

Emergency services responded to the scene in the city centre, where the injured were being treated. Police said the exact number of casualties had not yet been confirmed.

Police Launch Manhunt

Authorities said an intensive manhunt was under way and urged people to avoid the area while the operation continued.

In a statement posted on social media, police said they believed a vehicle had entered Tiergarten park, struck several people and caused multiple injuries.

A large number of police officers and fire department rescue units were deployed to the scene as the emergency response continued.

Pride Event Cancelled

Organisers cancelled the remainder of the annual Christopher Street Day celebrations following the incident.

Images from the scene showed a heavy emergency services presence, with at least one injured person being taken away by ambulance on a stretcher.

Earlier in the day, large crowds had joined the Pride parade through central Berlin before gathering near Tiergarten park for evening events.

Police have not released further details about the vehicle or the circumstances surrounding the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.

But if Farage loses his seat, I think it will be the end of Reform as a serious party with a chance of power.

You're doing it again. 😄 You need to learn the difference between what you want to happen and what will happen.

No way Farage loses his seat.

You may well be right. Of course, a victory for the Count is what I want, just as you want a victory for Farage. Or do you? Aren't you a Restore supporter? Are they standing in the by-election?

That is what a discussion forum is for BarraMarra, are you not aware? People post things, people discuss those things. It's not supposed to be an echo chamber, no matter how much you would love it to be one. You, Jonny F, Yagoda and Riclag would make a lovely "gang of four" with your own forum, but it wouldn't be very popular. But why don't you try setting one up then you can happily control who can participate.

Otherwise man up and deal with it. We are participating in discussion threads. Have you ever seen us try to stop who can and can't join in to any thread? Nope, all opinions welcome, even stupid ones - it makes the forum lively and interesting, it the the ENTIRE POINT of a discussion forum. Other than riclag you are the only person who flounces when other people join in a discussion and post opposing opinions.

Much as I dislike almost every single thing he says I have to give Jonny credit for taking it and giving it out, never complaining or whinging about it. You could learn from him.

Personally, I think the Count Binface thing is pretty lame, and with the mess Britain is in I think people should be taking politics a bit more seriously.

If Restore are not standing, I would prefer Reform.
