Greene: ‘I Can’t Remember’ Last Time Someone Wore MAGA Hat

Former Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said she could not remember the last time she saw someone wearing President Donald Trump’s “MAGA” hat, after sharing a post on the social platform X showing a billboard promoting a “Trump Superstore” that was “going out of business”.

Billboard Sparks Comment On MAGA Hat

Greene posted an image of the billboard, which read “Trump Superstore”, alongside a message indicating the business was closing. She wrote that she “can’t remember the last time” she had seen someone wearing a “maga hat or Trump shirt”.

The remarks come as Greene, a former close ally of Trump in Congress, continues to criticise the president following a split that has unfolded over several months.

Shift Away From Trump

Greene, who married her husband, Brian Glenn, in Las Vegas last month, had previously been one of Trump’s closest supporters. Her relationship with the president deteriorated as criticism grew ahead of the release of documents and files connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein by the Trump administration.

Greene was one of four Republicans who backed a discharge petition aimed at forcing a House vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The bill was authored by Representative Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky, and Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California.

Both chambers later passed the legislation, and Trump signed it into law shortly afterwards. However, lawmakers including Massie, Khanna and Greene said they were angered by the Justice Department’s approach to releasing the documents, as well as by redactions made throughout the files.

Shutdown Fallout And Trump’s Retaliation

As the dispute over the Epstein material fed broader tensions, Greene and others increasingly criticised Trump. The friction also reflected frustration from Greene over the handling of what she described as the longest government shutdown in modern United States history by Republican congressional leadership.

Trump responded to Greene in turn, referring to her as “Marjorie Traitor Brown”.

In November, Greene announced she would resign from the House of Representatives in January, saying she refused to be a “battered wife”. Since leaving office, she has continued attacking Trump and his policies, according to the accounts in her recent statements.

Iran War, Cost Of Living

Greene has also criticised the impact she says the Iran war has had on Americans concerned about the cost of living. In an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones in April, she said the public should “open their eyes” and “deal with reality” and “truth”.

She also argued that many people may have supported Trump “for 10 years” and suggested they needed to reassess what she described as current conditions, in remarks presented as part of her ongoing criticism of the president.

Well, 118 episodes were not written by him and 62 episodes were written by him, so one can't say "he wrote the Seinfeld series". He wrote slightly over 50%.

Anyway, Curb was really the masterpiece. Now that it has finalised there is no successor.

Seinfeld and Curb were the apex of comedy and let's not forget what Seinfeld said political correctness and the "extreme left" were destroying television comedy. They suceeded.

Hopefully they will not succeed in destroying society.

If there were 180 episodes total, he wrote only ~34%

Thing is, chum, I'm a True Blue Literal Card Carrying Tory. Just renewed my subs for the 25th year in a row. Oldest political party in the world.

I can call you all those things if you want, if it helps you achieve a climax or something. But I won't because you are none of those things. I think you are a Troll, with an invented persona. I've not called you anything else. Americans are normally amiable people, you blanked when showed a humourous clip. You expressed no opinion, I stated you didn't know who Larry David was. You didn't state whether you found the clip funny or not. And similarly the SNL sketch, where Donald Trump obviously showed a sense of humour, plus knew who Larry David was. But from you, no reaction, except a spew of insults, and a weird photo that you must have searched for using suspicious search terms (hint, scrub your search history now, if you are in Thailand).

I think you have just threatened me with violence.

Well now you have learned something; Larry David wrote the Seinfeld series.

So you’re not a yank. While you’re welcome to post anywhere not sure what MAGA hats and Trump have to do with a UK citizen. From my observation many Brits who are nationalist would welcome a “Trump like” PM as your country is going down the with unchecked immigration and the slow implementation of Sharia Law.

“”I've not called you anything else”

Yet, but lying troll is the latest in leftists vocabulary.

What is this alleged violence you speak of?

He’s doing exactly what I want.

Notice how nobody asked him softball questions like his favorite flavor of ice cream?

As they always did with Biden. They were ordered NEVER to ask any questions more complicated than ice cream or else Joe would screw it up.

He did win!!!

Many patriotic Americans are now wearing the Vance 2028 red hat. I have yet to receive mine as I am in Thailand but the next time I go back to the good-ol-USA I will purchase one, maybe several and bring them back to Thailand to had out to my patriotic American friends living in Thailand. But as I wait for my new hat, I will still proudly wear one of my red Make America Great Again hats.

So even though he hasn't declared himself in the race, you don't know his running mate and certainly don't know any of his policies, you are just automatically going to vote for Vance?

Identity politics was invented for simple minded people like you.

Both of you are wrong but never let facts get in the way of your bias.

It certainly would be a big ask for anyone to keep voting for the MAGA brigade after the nonsense of the last 2 terms of Trump but Vance is a different person so if he did get nominated and did try and undo most of the damage that Trump has inflicted on the US and more importantly the world, then he would get consideration. I'm British and have voted for both Labour and the Tories ON THEIR POLICIES rather than the cult of personality (something you Americans do far too often) of individual PM's. The original poster I was replying to was basically saying he would vote Vance no matter what. That to me is just idiotic and goes to the heart of the issues currently in the US where you are in one camp irespective of anything other than the other camp are 'Dems/Left'.

In most cases it's the equivalent of Turkeys voting for Thanksgiving.

Practically all his policies are bad. Just look at the polls. Overall approval sitting near 33%. Net approval roughly 31 points underwater nationally. Inflation, national priorities, foreign policy and economy all negative. Majority of Americans doesn't like his policies but not you I supposed.

Your's was just another typical no-nothing leftist comment. You can't come up with a single policy you like or don't like, so you say practically all.

The tantric yoga instructor she was banging at her gym probably slipped her a Mickey

Bill Cosby did a whole "comedy" routine about his date rape drug antics and people back in the 60-70s just giggled because he was supposedly a brilliant comedian who didn't act like a thug

Except for the date rape thing 🫪

Not many that I like. The border situation in the US obviously had to be sorted but he's gone and spoiled that initiative with the heavy handed tactics of ICE enforcement. I think Birthright Citizenship Restrictions are valid to a point (you shouldn't just be able to travel to a country, have a baby and claim citizenship) and energy independance is also a good idea but again, demonising all 'clean' energy is backwards thinking and will bite the US in the backside when China shows how clean energy works better/cheaper.

That's about it though as I hate most of his other initiatives to include tariffs, demonising DEI, undermining the media, co-opting the judiciary, going after his political/personal enemies, tax cuts for the rich/corporations, invading/starting wars with other countries, interfering in other countries politics, running up the deficit to now over $40 trillion, his racism, his sexism, how he treats the LGBTQ community (especially trans), his currying of favour with religous zealots, his abondonment of traditional allies in favour of dictators, his pettiness, his thin skin, his hubris and his lying. The guy lies constantly, often with no reason other than to create a narrative only he believes. I hate the divisions he has created in America and more importantly the world but mostlly I hate having to read about him and his nonsense EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail. It's exhausting.

What on earth are you talking about? You asked a question, I answered it IN DETAIL and all you can come up with is '..any specific examples...'

What do you want? Examples of tariffs, DEI, undermining the media, tax cuts, his wars, the $40 trillion deficit - I could go on. They are ALL overarching topics backed up by numerous examples but I have neither the patience nor the inclination to humour you any more. If you genuinely want examples of each then I suggest Google is your friend.

Just cling on to your pedantic nonsense and hope we fall into your trap of explaining the obvious.

You willingly accept what is going on with this nightmare of a POTUS and ask questions of us. Shame on you.

You and all of your ilk should be eating humble pie but you still support the idea this orange clown represents your country and that you personally still feel obliged to defend him so diligently through all of his blunders.

We told you at the start how bad he was going to be and it is exactly what we said and you are still defending this madness.

Shame on you and all that agree with you.
