Obama deported around 3 million illegal aliens with none of the sturm und drang we are seeing under Trump. Saw a side-by-side photo the other day of Obama's immigrant agents dressed like regular policemen and Trump's agents dressed like heavily armed soldier's going into combat, and masked to boot. Quite the contrast. There's the old saying, "The uniform makes the man". Yes, it certainly does, and with ICE's current uniforms, in a very bad way.

No matter if you are left or right, I think most people would agree that sending masked, heavily armed combat troops into what were once peaceful neighborhoods is not the way to be doing things. The once peaceful neighborhoods have now become war zones. And, that's exactly what it looks like--a war zone--with all the heavily armed ICE agents in combat gear and masks, roaming in packs. Who wants to live in a war zone? And, a needless, deliberate, calculated war zone, at that.

ICE needs to do a tactical retreat, go back to the Obama-era uniforms, and use the same Obama playbook to find and deport illegals. Worked then, will work now. Will following the law and doing things properly, including following ICE rules and regulations, maybe take a bit longer? Just might--but well worth it to not have today's utter chaos--and murders of citizens. And, finally, NO MASKS. If you are doing things by the book, following the law, you do not need to hide behind a mask.

Although, I was watching a news conference and the ICE guy in charge was asked a tough question he didn't want to answer so, naturally, he said, never mind that important question I don't have a good answer for. He was attacked by ICE agents when he was holding his phone ONLY. Not a threat. The agents discovered his holstered gun after he was being held, removed the gun, then shot him when he was still being held down and unarmed. Murder. Also not relevant if he also had a candy bar in his pocket. They cause nasty cavities, but only if you eat them. Harmless in the pocket.

I think most would say ICE brought the war zone--starting with bringing thousands of combat uniformed, heavily armed, masked soldiers into peaceful neighborhoods. Sanctuary cities pre-date Obama. There's always fraud--irrelevant, as is your 'possibly paid agitators'.

Sorry, we will just have to respectfully agree to disagree.

This ICE raid is filmed. The ICE guys are looking for one specific person, not terrorizing the neighborhood. The protesters / agitators follow ICE, taunt them, harass them, follow them, block them ... making a simple search for one illegal into a war zone.

One of the ICE guys has a mask. The others don't have masks. I don't think they are as obsessed with covering their faces as people think. They have uniforms that are not particularly intimidating.

Sorry, I will continue to side with ICE unless new information comes in that leads me to believe this harassment of ICE is justified.
