  1. "body torn in half" as the article says 🤯 Wonder what an exact cause is here.
  2. The only news about SEA-ME-WE 5 come from the country most affected (Bangladesh). Due to this article the repair is not finished. First week of June is expected. Article from 23 May: https://digibanglatech.news/english/bangladesh-english/131954/
  3. For some reason the topic came to my mind yesterday. I did some search for Shingrix ind Khon Kaen. Found Ratchaphruek Hospital for 6300/shot. Guess there will be additional fees. Khon Kaen RAM offers a single shot for 5000 (SKYZoster?) which seems less recommended. For Bangkok Hospital here I can not find any clear statement. Is there any chance that a public district hospital orders the vaccine on demand(deposit)?
  4. Parking just anywhere in Bangkok? Not a vague idea about the area or distance from his apartment that is acceptable? Where would that be? Or is it long term parking?
  5. I miss the times when news here offered a source. Tried to find to no avail. Some posters forget that there is a higher instance who could order such measures.
  6. Absolutely. They are treated at the same high security court and kept in isolation like the radical RAF (red army fraction) far-left militant group who killed 34 people, multiple leading figures from banks, industrialists, state prosecutor etc. in the 1970s.
  7. Read the full article. These summaries always miss important facts. Also the pictures are worth Found a shirt, hugging a policeman and driving off on a bike. Peacefully settled. Maybe the cannabis has kicked in
  8. Last photo from Brig, entrance to famous high mountain areas. Hope they haven't been killed in an accident trying some hiking or the like.
  9. YES. SHE has a and traveled on a Swedish passport. (สวีเดน) I read three times through the post of the Thai Embassy in Switzerland. You can be sure she is dual citizen. Thai citizenship from birth is never withdrawn by law.
  10. I didn't even read through the whole ad but traveler checks is a complete joke.
  11. Under consideration timing depends on office. Game of luck. I had an under consideration for a Non O issued at Khon Kaen immigration. Went there a week ahead, politely asked, after some digging in the cabinet it popped up
  12. I am the one who always finds that queue 5 minutes is reality. A couple doing misc attempts on her phone, then doing misc attempts on his phone. Finally giving up and organizing the enormous amount of 4xx Baht in cash. Which ends with the cashier calling the supervisor to clean up the mess. Smaller events again and again. Cashier is ready, amount on display. What now? Where is my phone? Digging, where is the banking app? Swipe swipe swipe... (and I silently repeat the mantra: never loose temper/face in Thailand, keep calm). I use cashless where it's appropriate. Paid 2xxk hospital, paid 6xxk final payment for new car. Pay utilities online, no cash on delivery at Lazada et.al. But not my snacks at 7/11!
  13. Your thread seems the first and unnoticed but now in the news.
  14. From the meager information collected there is no reason to assume that you need a new laptop. Seems fast enough for personal use. A complete re installation is generally a good idea but plan carefully about the consequences and preparation. Data lost? What programs to reinstall? Not an easy decision.
