  1. Its the restrictions of buying times for alcohol which is the main cause of the DRUNKS problem. However, the neanderthals are in charge, wearing their uniforms and badges to prove their point. Most third world countries are ruled by thick military of dumb dictators. If any one of them ever acquired the brains of a rocking horse, they would still be stupid. For which of course, there is no cure!
  2. Depends upon the thrills, surely!
  3. Full admiration to the school head, who has encouraged this activity.
  4. I recon the majority of the rest of the world owes the UK big time.
  5. These Caribbean countries looking for reparations are all in hock to china, and china are pressing for repayment.
  6. Said before, but will say again. Look at 'Mytello'.1 TB to UK land lines and 1.5TB to mobiles. It is also possible to set up Mytello in the UK to make calls world wide. WHATS NOT TO LIKE?
  7. I don't live in Hillside 4, but it is a very common problem in condo's up and down the country. It is the result of very poor workmanship and possibly, the cause is due to the floor being laid and then realizing the pipework has not been installed. The result is a hammer and cold chisel to make the holes. The plumbing is then laid and cement to fill the gap, but no correct sealant used. The blame is squarely on the shoulders of the builder. Unfortunately, he is possible long gone. Solution??????
  8. "By legalizing brothels and putting it all in doors it would improve Thailands image." How many brothels would be required? Where would they be sighted. Would they have a sign saying "SHORT TIME ONLY?" How long would the queues be, and would they be designated for such use, cordoned off on the sidewalk?
  9. One major problem, which will take millennium to change. Who will train the trainers? ! Somchai says, "This is the way I was trained, so it must be correct! You farang, you not know Thai way!"
  10. The first aiders, don't appear to have done the Swedish guy any favours. rolling him over and pulling his shirt up over his head, was not a very good idea.
  11. All kinds of reasons why that can be disputed. Post a letter via EMS to the UK on Monday am in Banpet. Wednesday am and Thailand Post reports letter arrived UK 12:15pm. UK post says it is still awaiting departure form country of origin. The following Tuesday UK post says the item beliveredn13.56 pm. Total cost B1250:00 Two weeks later, letter to the same address in UK takes 5 days. The total cost B450 DHL letter to same address a month later. FOUR DAYS @ B550. A small parcel to same address in UK took 5 days. Weight 1/2Kg cost B1500 via DHL. I know where my money goes!
  12. I use Grab where I live, as calling a regular cab incurs an extra 20B, and possibly more. I can hail a taxi and pay 120B to go to the town. I call a grab to go to the same place and it costs 95B. A taxi to the hospital is always 130b. By Grab its 95b and the car is ALWAYS cleaner. Its a no brainer.
