Free trade agreement between Thailand and China?
You can read here the changes to the VAT regime enforced by the Thai customs: Thailand makes key interim changes for collection of VAT/excise tax on Low-Value Goods imports | EY - Global In a nutshell: "Historically, LVGs [i.e. low-value-goods] [...] are defined [...] as goods valued at not more than 1,500 Thai baht". The "import of LVG into Thailand is specifically exempted from duty" and "from the 7% VAT". From "5 July 2024 to 31 December 2024" "the import VAT exemption applies only to LVG valued not exceeding THB 1. For goods valued over THB 1 but not exceeding THB 1,500, import VAT shall be levied and collected by Thai Customs". It is not yet clear what will happen after 31 december 2024 (TIT). -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
I expect the part of the news article that they can submit a request to the manufacturers (i.e., dealerships) where a person bought the EV is incorrect especially since the manufacturers/dealerships want to advertise the lowest possible price to increase sales....a price that is based on the manufactures/dealership receiving the subsidy once they complete registration for the buyer. Now several manufacturers/dealerships have offered "cash back" promotions (not to be confused with the govt subsidy) for short periods where when a buyer must complete payment and registration (even thou the dealership handles the registraton) by a certain date to be eligible for "cash back" like below Bt100K BYD Atto promotions late last year and early this year.....just before BYD started dropping the retail price much more aggressively with no cash back promotion. I figure the "cash-back" promotions was BYD sneaky way of lowering the price of the EV without actually lowering the retail price even more. Effects of ingesting THC Cannabis Oil versus Inhaling THC from Cannabis
Just a few comments, based on experiences from former times when I used to partake. Instead of having to rely on the quality and content of commercially supplied oil, why not make your own? Remove stalks and chop up a bud/buds in a mortise & pestle. Add some extra virgin olive oil and grind to a paste. Add oil as desired. Place in a light proof container and keep refrigerated. For best results eat a portion on an empty stomach. THC degrades with heat and light (store & carry accordingly). With commercial oils, who knows what type and quality of oil has been used? What else has been added? Do you want to be consuming it? What is the quality of cannabis used? Much better to hand select your buds. Cannabis, as an oil, will deteriorate through poor storage and handling. Adding any food to your edible oil or paste will delay absorption. Regarding your experience of a relaxed onset, I'd comment that an increased heart rate may be occurring regardless of any feelings of anxiety or relaxation. You may not be anxious, nor have increased body heat, to have an elevated heart rate. A surgeon had indicated that long term use of cannabis stresses the heart, causes blood platelets to stick together, alters heart rhythm, and elevates heart rate. Smoking it also elevates CO1 levels in the blood stream. -

Indeed... but the orders and things contracts must be paid.. with less THB for a USD will mean you have to pay more USD for the same product ..and that means more income for Thailand on the short term.. but by being expensive I am wondering if they will get many new orders..And it will also affect tourism.. Thailand is getting too expensive again, but the Government doesn't seems to understand. -

Applying for a DTV (soft power) with Thai language classes possible?
The thing is what's been said already was only said by folks from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs..and they don't even answer my question if Thai language classes are accepted for an application. Guess they don't know, lol. Thai Immigration so far remained completely mute about the DTV and ultimately it is in their discretion if you are permitted entry into Thailand. A valid visa is (sadly) no guarantee to enter the Kingdom. -
