Pulled out 'her' 38. Not 'a'.
You see my point, it's as though all girls have a gun stashed away.
I can't make my mid up whether or not this is a min OK Coral or an 18th century duel. You would have thought they would have agreed similar weapons at least, before they met.
Hand bags at dawn .

It's probably written as an irony.
Standard pronunciation is with short vowel, but it's written with long vowels instead.
It's like saying: Aimmm noot druuunnkk yeeet... (as in not drunk [enough] yet...)
That makes perfect sense . Thanks all .

I have been checked in the southern bus station by some cheeky try it on police officers in 1999. More recently when travelling by bus from Ubon to Mo Chit the bus was stopped on route 24 close to the Cambodian border. They were looking for red shirts I beleive .

I remember Koh Tao as an easy laid back place . I stayed in cheapo hut at Taraporn . I went fishing with the fishermen and they didn't charge me , I ate fish for free in the resaurant . I made small fires on the rocks , cooked fish and made pots of tea . I sang wee shantys into the night and then they were silent . Motor bikes had really quiet exhaust pipes because I never heard any. I didn't have to take loads of selfies with my instamatic camera . Booze was served in a glass instead of a plastic bucket .It was a beautiful garden. What a shame . What has Koh Tao become ?

I understand that the body of another Westerner was recently found floating in the sea just off Koh Tao also. That would make 6 deaths.
I think he was a Swiss national
Are you talking about the swiss guy that died a few weeks ago.
Before the hanging. But after the other guy that drowned. But before the girl died under the boat. But not the one that was washed up on shore all dressed in black that we thought was Sean. Or is this a new new death.
Meaning either after all of the above but just before the death of christine. Or after all of the above and after the death of christine.
So that would be about 9 if we included the one that fell off the balcony into the sea.
Wouldn't it. Really it is not my intent to be rude. But it really is getting difficult to keep count.
The one that washed up dressed in black, which everyone thought was Sean, was about 1000km away on Koh Samet.
But never mind, you say 9 murders in the past few months on Koh Tao.
I say 15, do I hear 20, anyone?.....second time do i hear 20?.................
The old adage "Be careful what you wish for" comes to mind .

Can you fly to HK together ? If you have proof you are inconsolably diffrent and are living apart, you post a notice at the courts then wait a week , cant remember how long then sign some papers at the lawyers then its bingo time.

Koa Tao must have been like a trip to Damascus for a young anti immigration , but I am allowed to do what ever I want , conservative .

A way of getting round the visa problem for these schools could be , the western English teachers in a basement, without computers, in Thailand phone Indian guys, with computers, in India who give the online course to the students, with computers, in China.
That way the western English teachers could not be incriminated as they could say " we're just on the phone to our mates in India".
Voila.

My wife and I were charged an unreasonable amount of tax when moving and bringing some household items , all well used , from HK( posted from Macau) to Thailand . The customs officers were very sticky and because my wife was a resident of HK and had no in out stamps for HK in her passport they first said she hadn't been living there , when she showed them her HK id card they then said she was not a resident of Thailand or something like that and we had to pay or forget about our stuff . We paid up around 15000 bhat and recieved our boxes some weeks later . They basically rubbished our packing list and gave a monetary worth to just about every pot , pan, children's plastic toy and broken record player. The only thing they missed was my old LP collection which they didnt recognise as having any value . We were initially in BK dealing with the carrier but couldn't hang around too long and went up country to Ubon and from that time all the correspondence was by fax and phone with the customs and they held all the cards so to speak. Good luck .

could have been the rebar cage wasnt secured and took the scaffold down with it as it toppled over
It does look like they were fixing rebar for a column and the rebar has toppled taking the scaffold with it .

its hard to make out on my phone but it looks like the task was rebar fixing maybe for a column , possibly topping up from a horizontal position layed along the scaffold., those cheap A frame scaffolds are always collapsing. i hope the men recover ok.
