  1. it actually happened to me today-amazing

waved down a taxi, he took me to part of the way, without adjusting the meter... somewhere there was no taxi and said he wanted 200 baht!!

when i said " no" he ordrered me to get out!

I politley asked if he could drive back, or somewhere I can get a taxi,he swore at me in Thai then challenged me a boxing match fight because I would not leave!

gay I may be, do not fight with any old fag. have bitten noses off people!

fine i said, until i showed him what i carry-that changed his tune and showed his real colors.

Later by sheer coincidence I saw him at a crossroads.

he was giving me all the tough guy signs. I also smashed his meter, saying you do not need this.... yuo do not need not use it... I was so pissed because.I got out, opened his door and slapped him hard. So much for the brave mentality- there were many taxi theres and none helped, nor did any locals( but lots of cops around who seemd to find amusing, although i would not recommend such an action.

This thankfully very rare, but I will bet the think thinks twice about f]doing that again.

I had run out of pain killers which is why i overreacted

  2. Hmmmm.... while I'm all in favour of free speech, Dr John, wouldn't it be better to hold off pontificating until you've actually read it....

How about if one has read it and still thinks its bilge?

I have read it and I think it is total carp.....it just takes the stereotypical view of farang and Bar girl relationships as told by some the guys that have had bitter experiences and cant get over them. Mr Leather and his ilk should try writing about the relationships that have worked.....but probably not sensationalist enough for them. Bulldust sells more books than truth.

I also think it is strange that this thread was opened and Lo and Behold we have a new member calling himself "I wrote it" and purporting to be the author....What a coincidence....

did you mean carp, which a is a fish very popular in japan

or crap- you do not have to like it, read it, believe anything, nor be rude, showing you own personal issues, upbringing( or rather lack of it) to be somewhat lacking.

I and many other think its great.is that offensive to you. Maybe Mr Leather has reminded you of something you wanted to forget or perhaps because he is a success bothers you.

And I would avoid making yourself look more foolish by suggesting IWROTEIT is the person you are so obviouysly jealous of

Do not listen to these little folk Mr leather.

You always know when your doing something right when this lot has to whine.

  3. He also wrote on of the best insights into how badly bar girls are treated when sent abroad

" my name in Lon" show the tragic things a young lady has to do to survive, yes, it may called fiction, but a a lot of it is based upon fact

  4. each to own- I suppose-I think the bible is utter crap.

But look at how many read it, it seems to have done rather well and the characters are far less real than most found in any of SL books. The plots too.

I also think "private dancer" is an excellent look at the real Thailand.I wonder why it has not been made into a film.

His other books are very good also.

Entertaining, well researched . I do think he is a cut above most and that we'll be hearing a lot more from this writer.I certainly hope so.

His certainly captures Thailand very well in many aspects which I know may offend some people as it hits a bit near to the bone.

At the airport I have seen some horribly dull tales I am amazed they made it into print, one about an Englishman coming out here, finding" true love" owning a farm....

I say " good luck to him" what I'd really like to know is a bit odd. I sort of spot things you see. In the photo of the young lady on the cover- was she a she, or was she once a he?

    Does anyone know?

  5. As an American, I'd be hard pressed to name heroes who all Americans would agree with. Abe Lincoln? Fans of the confederacy may not agree. Martin Luther King? Many disagreements there. JFK? Similar to Bill Clinton in a lot of ways. Athletes and celebrities? Forget about it. I can go on and on.

While that may be true..there is one man beyond reproach in America and his name is Chuck Norris.

    The real American hero.

yep, is he American- i thought he was really an aussie?, not even his real name either

but he has done some good deeds

    hero's

    1-the Spartans

    2- Queen Elizabeth

    3-Winston Churchill

    4-Ghandi

    5- Martin Luther King

    6-William Penn

just a few that come to mind

  6. where there is man there will always be a risk of danger

personally and looking at all the facts, as well as coming in and out of this beautiful land of happy, smiling people for over 35 year's .

I think it is one of the safer places on earth .Stats show japan as being number 1 ( interesting as it has the highest amount of mafia per ca pita and biggest intake of certain types of drugs)

The places have their issues. You will always find area's and bunches of people, usually young men, under the influence of something looking for trouble. In desperately poor area's it's the risk of theft associated violence.

The Thai's like many in this region will jump into a fight to support their own race if they see this going as they generally automatically assume their own kind is in the right and the foreigner is in the wrong.

I have almost never seen Thai's overtly going looking for trouble like I have in the UK and other parts of Europe, south America.

The average Thai, and this is extremely subjective and general, and opinionated I find to be amongst the most pleasant people on earth . I found the same in the north of England where I was simply amazed with the hospitality shown to me by total strangers, the same in small town USA.

In both places people would go out of their way to make me feel welcome.

I love saying " good morning " and receiving a nice reply or a friendly smile.

Thailand despite all its issues thanks to not so nice people with ego ridden , self motivated agenda and not people I would call real " thai's" is still one of the nicest places filled with the nicest people.

You will have a great time here

  7. you say

"I want nothing to do with you..."

Then you answered my post, this associating with me... right/wrong?

I will have nothing to do with you, hold on, but I will send you a mail....!!!! oh , how I love it sometimes

    ...

I do not approve of colonialism, but see it, with some reluctance as being much better than what was left behind.

Drugs is often based upon.... wrong again in some circumstances

Bumiggrad toild me I needed to have an op

another doctor said this was nonsense- you take drugs, legally here 'yes".They are still drugs. You are a drug taker. Does that upset you? Is because it legal make yuo feel okay.

You have total complete in the law makers do you? many of your special needs students may be that way because of badly prescribed medicine given either to them or their parents when there was a profits first policy.

Or many due to lack of proper nutrition due to a lacking government welfare system, like, eeerrr....in india

Someone has decided to let them be legal. So, what is this point?

And many drugs are not taken for medical necessity, but for pleasure improvement of health- but you did say often.

    Moral rights- what is moral?

To me we all know the answer and yet we do so little to make any progress

what is kumbaya,? and like it or not, we are related-and actually, on the same side

Responding to your inane posts is not associating with you.

You have defended colonialism in multiple posts with the the ends justify the means defense.

It's a rare mind that equates a life-saving drug (e.g. to prevent heart attacks or strokes) with being a druggie.

    of course responding is associating.

You were responding, out of your own free will, to my post.

I provoked/caused you to do something that associated yourself with me.Who was it then who caused your reply?

Thanks, I have a "rare mind" quite proud of it in fact.

Drug's- druggie- drug user's- all words that can apply to you.

Not ones i would choose, but some might, who can define what terms others use.

To some "druggies" their choice of drugs are life saving because it helps them escape the mind boggling boring existence of the humdrum daily 9-5pm life which the vast majority of people lead

and which maslow suggested was the cause of this( taking drugs) to be a human need. Serious- I do hope you stay well.

and it seems you do good work with special needs kids ( of which i was one)

The colony thing is simply born out of the obvious fact that virtually all ex-colony's not only did not progress, but went completely the other way.I truly wish they were able to do better-this is not a decision born out of any racism.I just see it this way. I am part fopreign by the way- so can hardly be called pro- Is it not just as racist to vote a white man out, because he is white and then choose a completely inept ruler

because he came from "their" part of this planet

Whatever defense- its simply seem to me to be a fact

Ask any burmese who is not in the government or has escaped Burma. Ask that lovely lady whose father kicked the brits out- and look what happened..progress?

The vast majority of the poor in these places suffer because of this.

Looking forward to associating with you again

  8. What's the Downside?

The "benefits" of meth are more than matched by the drug's ill effects-both immediately and over time. Methamphetamine is an addictive drug that causes physical harm throughout the body. In addition to that physical damage, some people looking for temporary relief from long-term conditions like depression and AIDS-related fatigue may try meth and ignore their prescribed treatments.

After the initial rush, individuals typically experience a state of great agitation that can lead to violent behavior. As the drug leaves their systems, users can experience:

    · Irritability/aggressiveness/frustration

    · Anxiety

    · Depression

    · Fatigue

    · Paranoia (sometimes extreme, leading to thoughts of homicide or suicide)

    · Hallucinations or delusions (e.g., sensation of insects crawling on the skin) Intense cravings for the drug.

The pleasurable effects of the drug vanish even before it disappears in the blood. As a result, meth users often follow a "binge and crash" pattern and may continue taking the drug over several days. They may go without food and sleep and inject the drug every 2 to 3 hours to prolong the high and postpone the inevitable crash.

The crash phase, commonly referred to as "tweaking," often overwhelms the user with feelings of anxiety and emptiness. When tweaking, people can be extremely irritable and paranoid. They may exhibit unpredictable and dangerous behavior when startled, confused, or confronted. To reduce or counter withdrawal, meth users frequently resort to alcohol, heroin, or marijuana.

The length of time before long-term effects become noticeable and the severity of those effects vary from person to person. People who report control of the drug at first may lose that control over time and become addicted. Meth addiction is caused by the changes in the brain produced by the drug. People addicted to meth experience a powerful physical and emotional withdrawal. The user's lifestyle changes to focus on getting and using meth. Even after chronic use has stopped, the meth user may experience depression, anxiety, fatigue, paranoia, aggression, and an intense craving for the drug.

Damaging effects of methamphetamine include physical, emotional, and mental destruction, including:

    · Memory problems

    · Insomnia

    · Decreased appetite and anorexia

    · Increased heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature

    · Tremors or convulsions

    · Breathing problems

    · Lung, kidney, and liver damage

    · Irreversible damage to blood vessels in the brain, which can produce strokes

    · Increased risk of getting or transmitting HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and C, and other diseases for users who inject meth and share needles

Meth's effect on the brain and the brain's ability to recover are not entirely clear. However, injury to brain cells can be seen months after a person quits using meth. This damage affects the supply of chemicals important to physical and mental well-being. Whether addicted or not, meth users risk brain damage that may be permanent.

Research is continuing, but studies also have connected prolonged use of meth with symptoms similar to those experienced by people with Parkinson's disease. Another outcome may be brain damage that appears similar to that caused by Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and epilepsy.

what you say about other types of meth- of which i know little may be true

if its about "ice" aka "shabu" then its not so true .In facts ,its totally wrong.

There are many types of meth.

Ice is almost impossible to find/buy here according to not only my police friends, but also , my friends who use it.One poster said this already.

The dealers say it is "ice" but it is something completely different. Although it looks the same and apparently has the same initial feeling.

    Ice is NOT addictive.

That does not mean i recommend taking it or say its good for you.

But if you have the money and are a person who requires to take things, at least know what you can take and do yourself the least damage. You see, regardless, people will take.

I say this after living in japan and being close to very regular users who suffered no overt negative effects, went for regular doctors check ups, took the prescribed supplements, were never depressed

or had any, not even the slightest of negative effects discussed here.

I had so many, it was so popular up there in the late 70's. Even now I am told. And my friend who took then, still take now- and are fine and well it seems.

One is a company president who turned his company into a big success.

I am sure there are many who do not have such positive tales.

All these people only drank/snorted/smoked it.As far as I know, none of them ever injected it. Maybe there's a difference.

None of these sorts of drugs can or should be considered healthy, but more damage is done by misinformation and the inability of a user ( of which there will always be) to seek the best way of doing so long as they remain illegal

  9. 10yearsmethuse.jpg

Sorry it's plain dangerous and destroys lives.

you should be sorry- you buy lies/hype/ blinded

take those photos- crush them up and throw them away

this is pure and utter propaganda and you have fallen for it

I can show you beautiful Japanese girls who have been taking "ice aka shabu, since they were in their teens- how do explain that?

Do you know that Japanese per capita the largest users- and yet the least to suffer from it? Why?

You cannot. Know why- because you are wrong. They know that are doing, they take supplements, get advice from doctors up there who are known to dispense of advice for this( because so many Japanese take it)

ic aka shabu hardly exists here

its is called that- but is NOT that. It is, apparently almost impossible to find here, and very, very manageable.Ice is NOT addictive.

Go out and take some photos of some binge drinkers, smokers, the 9-5pm wrking 6 days a week crowd and you will see any photo like this

  10. I am old fashioned

tattoos really are a sign of the lower classes

    especially in women

have you really seen a lady of good breeding/class wearing a tattoo?

They shouldn't be blamed however, they know no better, they are just following a modern faux paux

a friend of mine is extremely handsome, but flatly refuses to date any lady with a tattoo

I think that's a little extreme , no need to get in such a fuss about it

its only misguided attempts to do what most do anyway- that is , to look better

but 'ladys, listen up- real gentlemen, really do not like them and I'm afraid to say , will look down upon you for wearing them

  11. i do not see how can in their right mind could think India has improved since the British left.

Two bad things happen to india 1- the britsh came 2- they left.

The place is huge, racial, corrupt , filthy mess. I cannot imagine it being worse under the Brits.

Put aside all this nonsense about

"we're proud to be independent"( they are neither), the average poor, uneducated person who makes up most of India would much be lead by a competent caring government.

This is true of most ex-colonys. Ask any burmese.

And they can be far more racist than the British were to them.

    Who owns India now?

I hope you do not think its the Indian government in any matters that concern the west and what it wants.

And was does it mean "owning" something really mean? Nothing really, its a term which to me is just plain silly and outdated.

here is one of the problems. We should move ahead from "he is this, he is that.." It should we, us,together, one, brother, sister

Yes, you take drugs, maybe they are legal, that because they are taxed. Most people do. I would say " druggie apply s more to those who take the illegal ones, the far less harmful ones in so many cases

Having worked for years with thousands of special education students, and being well aware of the many routes in thinking that can lead to, I hesitate to bother to answer you. But, I just can't let a few things go.

The first is your repeated defense of colonialism. I suppose you also defend slavery. There is no difference between slavery and colonialism, except in terms of scale. One enslaves a nation, the other enslaves a person. The principle is the same -- you (or your country) is less than me (or my country), and therefore I have a right to own you.

The fact that a colonial power made thing efficient is irrelevant to whether or not colonialism is moral. One of the means by which tyrants attempt to develop more broad-based support is by benefiting people. The old saying that Mussolini made the trains run on time -- which actually isn't very true -- justified to some fascism.

The British (as just one example of colonialism) had a moral right to "be British"...in Britain.

The Indians (as just one example of a conquered people in their past) had the same moral right to "be Indian"...in India.

Oh will you cut out the one brother, one sister routine. Next you'll have us all sitting in a circle singing "Kumbaya". I don't want to be your brother. I don't want to meet you. I don't want to associate with you.

And as to drugs the difference between a legal drug and an illegal drug (which by the way, varies greatly from one country to the next) is often based on whether it's medically necessary. If I don't take my heart medication I could have a heart attack. If I don't take my blood pressure medicine I could have a stroke. If some of my special ed students didn't take their meds they started biting and drawing blood.

Everything to you is a government conspiracy. Get over it.

first of all- you do make us laugh

you contribute yourself, a sure sign of someone who understands their own weaknesses

    you say

"I want nothing to do with you..."

Then you answered my post, this associating with me... right/wrong?

I will have nothing to do with you, hold on, but I will send you a mail....!!!! oh , how I love it sometimes

you willingly make a total contradiction......and I am guessing english language is your first

my mother worked with special needs children too, me sometimes too, more orphanages

ones who would be totally neglected in such messed up places like India- if was their karma to be that way

ask one of the 3 a day ladys in india who gets burt alive if she rather be under her proud progressive nation than the Brits

i wonder who they would rather have looking after them- I know it, you ,you know

I do not approve of colonialism, but see it, with some reluctance as being much better than what was left behind.

Drugs is often based upon.... wrong again in some circumstances

Bumiggrad toild me I needed to have an op

  12. this shows a deep self loathing

which comes from the fact that they know so much of their own house is not in order

and they look to the west, yet, resent the west for doing things

It's not because they want to look like farang. If they wanted that they'd increase their diet 3 times what it is now and drink more beer. :)

if they did not want to look farang can you please explain why nose jobs, eye rounding, boob jobs cheek implants are so popular here then? why do most model look Eurasian- why do all the stupid "hi-so so copy the west? answer- because of this, there is simply nothing really here that appleases these wrong thinkers

along with the desire to change their skin colour, thus self image, they copy- and fail misrably to look western

theres nothing at all wrong with being dark skinned

theres a lot wrong with a distorted view that one should not look a certain way that nature dictated.

It shows mental disorder- look at michael jackson.

  13. this shows a deep self loathing

which comes from the fact that they know so much of their own house is not in order

and they look to the west, yet, resent the west for doing things

Isn't it amazing that a simple thing like using skin whitener can provoke such an arrogant, condescending comment?

How do you explain western whiteys lying in the sun or under a tanning lamp to get a tan?

it not just my opinion- and its touched a nerve, showing its true. Trith is not always nice. Why not be happy with not only your skin colour, but also copying others ways.

look at one ladys aweful nose job...

most things they look up to are western

they have nose, boob jobs, they yearn to be Hi-so, their version of a Western cultured person

and what do light skinned ladys , like my ex think of dark skinned ladys "issan primates" she called them

and unfortunatly the very fact that do buy the most of those products show a deep self loathing

oh, and to answer your other question. Whitely's laying under sunbeds usually do so in order to get what is called a sun tan. I am amazed that you did not know this.

  14. For the Thai there is one big hero: The King.

A friend told me she loves the King sooo much... she has his picture as screensaver. I think she loves the King more than her husband. And I bet many many Thai feel the same.

I must choose my words very carefully- another sign of a backward nation.

i speak to many and ask many questions.

You are incorrect, things are changing -for the better in some ways

  15. You are missing one of the greatest!

    Chulalongkorn

    post-50139-1271265829_thumb.jpg220px-King_and_Tsar.jpg

Somebody has mentioned Rama V. I believe he was Chulalongkorn.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

you are- but if one does, one may get banned

  16. yes, so much to be proud of, it was never colonized simply because the west did not want it

if they had- be in no doubt they would of had

and actually they did, and still do, what the west wants from Thailand it gets- period.Thailand cannot refuse a request( demand)

its like one having a wife and mistress.Thailand was the mistress .The west only took, not gave, they defined Thailand boarders, trashed the army in aboarder war, made sure trouble would oneday by making some states Thailand which were all muslin, told the king to behave or loose his land, and stole phucket

the skytrain would have been built years ago and it would not be the 11th most corrupt knock shop

a human rights record from hel_l

invested history, banned book, not allowed to ask certain things

even the most popular person here,or one of them is not Thai

    they invented their own religion

and are the worlds biggest importers of skin whiten creme

Pride should come from self honesty.

  17. bjoe; Have no idea who your statements which reference 'They', refer to. Software is not required to watch true tv the last time I tuned in. " allowed free thought and allowed to question everything/everyone not biased followings designed to keep corrupt in power" My guess is, you are referring to the Thai populace and the acceptance of the BS they are subjected to on a regular basis, as I see no relevance to my post which you quote, I am not really interested.

As to the rest of your questions, it will not take a Dick Tracy to find the pertent info in a tv guide, watch the program and make your own assumptions, which you seem good at. Good luck on WE giving a lecture, will it follow the Martin/Lewis routine?

I see I have touched a nerve- always a good sign

yes, you were right about one thing- not bad.

Its the BS people are fed here.I mean the local people. Software= brain power

You are welcome to attend the lecture and make your decision.

It for journalists only and I know of no martin or Lewis. But I can get you in.We are giving it free of charge a some local journalist are stating to feel in danger.

Thanks your compliment about my accuracy at making assumptions. How did you know I seem rather good a this. You too must have it then.

I think it comes from developing a sensitive awareness, experience in the actual field of what one is talking about, seeing things as they clearly eye without any preconceived notion ,assumptions, prejudices.

  18. Joe, a little bit of what you wrote is factual and could be called "evidence" (although I didn't realize anyone was on trial). But much of what you wrote was opinion. And there's nothing wrong with you having your opinion and stating it. But please don't call your opinions, facts.

For example, whether India has progressed or gone in reverse could be up for debate. But owning another country and its culture is simply wrong and immoral. It's sort of like some child abuse -- "I'm going to beat you for your own good." Well, it's never good or right.

To answer your question, I do not drink or smoke, or take illegal drugs. Is taking blood pressure and heart medicine so I don't have a stroke or heart attack being a druggy?

i do not see how can in their right mind could think India has improved since the British left.

  19. Somchai: ...but what if we get caught smuggling this 20kg of hash in Malaysia?

Sombat: They will probably sentence us to death

Somchai: But if we make it, we will get paid 200,000 baht each...more than we can make in 2 years

Sombat: Yes, 200,000....I'm willing to risk my life for 200,000 and a new Honda Wave

Somchai: And if we do get caught, don't worry, I know a Forum of guys that will say the law is stupid and hash should be legal

Sombat: Can they get us out?

Somchai: hel_l no. But druggies write long meaningless posts

Sombat: So what are you saying Somchai?

Somchai: Think about the money Sombat...the money...we know what could happen....but the money....think about that

Sombat: You are right Somchai...and if we get caught we'll cry and whine like girls that the law is not fair

Somchai: I like the way you think Sombat

somchai- but one guy and his friend/group who post are not so meaningless, they have got people out, laws changed, reviewed( bettter not to say)...mmm ... meaningless. How could they be that?

errr... sorry mate, can not answer that one for obvious reasons- we've been trashed

I wonder why."Meaningless".......crying like girls and whining whatever you may wish to call it has achieved rather a lot.

  20. I have no sympathy for drug traffickers of any kind! Today it is "only" cannabis tomorrow it will be heroin or ya baa they trade.

They play with fire, they must know what the consequences are when get busted, in particular in Malaysia!

Sums it up very nicely :D , so much so I just wanted to play it again for the bleeding hearts.

ps: I just noticed the date of the OP, TIME FOR :)

so you support policy's that have been proven to kill innocent people do you?

and if you find out that these were poor, rural, desperate men, perhaps, as is often the case bullied into what they did- would you pull the lever?

And, by the way, your drug trafficker too, we all are.Our body's all contain 'drugs"

  21. Asia is one big mess( the west is not far behind)

run by corrupt governments who teach their people not to think, ban information, promote disinformation use the patriotic card, religion , etc

therefore most people simple cannot be expected to have the same standards

although, i have sen extremely good and kind acts done by exactly those one would not expect it from

and sad to say , visa -versa

  22. Watched a documentary on Education channel last night, True tv, called "Rampage". It showed mobs/riot around the world over a 10+_ year time span (prison riots to 70,000 civilian mobs). One of the experts in crowd/mob control noted "culture" could be associated to mob mentality/action. What impressed me was the preparedness of the police/military to handle these situations and the various devices utilized. The experts gave some great insight to dealing with mobs and the physiology behind it.

Hope the Thais' watched the program, both sides could learn from it. One, how to handle the situation and the other. what to expect as a consequence to your actions.

they do not have the software to benefit from it quickly

first of all, they must be allowed free thought, and allowed to question everything/everyone

not biased followings designed to keep the corrupt in power

any ideas on how i can see that documentary?

Which police were the most prepared please and why?

We have to give a lecture on this at the FCC, so it would be useful

    thank you

  24. Hmm while i do question the need for the death penalty... I have little sympathy for those caught doing the deed...

Simple... if you want to take the risk in smuggling, you risk your life...

The 2 gentlemen took that risk and now they face the results of getting caught... Surely they thought about/discussed the risks of getting caught and even attempted to reduce those risks... They knew full well what they were getting into.

The fact that the death penalty does not serve its purpose is for a different debate i fear...

you have valid point for sure

so, every time you go 1 mile over speed limit should you be thrown the book at.You knew you were in the wrong.

    paid all you taxes?

I once was told/read that if every person was punished to the full extent of the law for everything they ever did nearly everyone would be classed a criminal. Many would be in jail. I know I would.

Secondly, smuggling drugs is one of the safest and surest way to get rich quickly.

The people who get caught do not cause so much a drop in the ocean to the big picture. The big boys do not give a dam .A certain ex -leader of the worlds biggest knock shop does now because he got bunged out and want the money he made from that trade back- and so does his boys.

And do we know the full story behind this? Yes, you are right, they most probabaly did know that they risked death. And its also most likely that these poor people did it out of necessity rather than greed because there simply is not available to them the choices, the government, the options we enjoy from the west.

Consideration should be given for the persons circumstances.

poor farmers , perhaps lacking in the thinking skills his government have made sure he has not received risking that to ensure his family's welfare should not be put to death.

There is no debate about the death penalty. Its fact- it does not work.Nobody can argue it.

And innocent people will die. So, how can anyone support it?

One of the most enlightened country's on earth ( the UK) stopped it when they knew they had just taken the life of an innocent man.

How many poor blacks faced the horrifying electric chair for the simple crime of being black?

Read the book " circumstantial evidence" a black man sentenced to die, thankfully later overthrown, the circumstances were- he was black.

I certainly would do many things. I see true crime as , not only the sheer ignorance shown here by many posters, but violence, rape, child abuse,( all forms of violence),fraud, theft, etc

If we focused a little more on these things would be greatly improved. The taxes saved could go towards perhaps helping to stop the things that push these people to smuggle in the first place.
