I'm not suggesting the shuberth is the most superior in all aspects, and I certainly haven't sampled much helmets to compare against a variety, but I noticed a marked improvement when opening the head vents and playing around with the venting control in front of the jaw, I'm very happy with the airflow, but as is norm only issue is when sitting at lights for a period of time, also each rider has different riding style/situation, for example a difference between yourself and I is that I'm never or rarely stuck in Bangkok traffic as I'm an hour and a half outside Bangkok, so for me just a 4 minute ride and I'm on open highway

We're outside the tourist area a couple hours north of Bangkok,,, 2 x kids 7year old and 9 years old, we don't now have rent but last early last year we were renting, good quality 2 story 3 bed 2bathroom house in nice village with garden at 6k per month, we installed our own aircons,,
Now we're in new build and monthly costs for aircons X 5 up to 8 hours per day costing maximum, 3200 per month that's including water charge which is minimal,, food costs - 12000/15000 per month, Internet 690 per month, car insurance 3k per month, health insurance around 3.5k per month(I think), car fuel - 3k per month, we took the kids out of private school last year as there was a reputed good quality govt school which we are happy with so far, but private school costs in the provincial town before were 20k per child per term including English program

Sorry backtofront missed your second posting,,, same same, robs bar and "one more bar" are one and the same... Turning left into the road before or after passing the entrance to the war cemetery, turn next right and head along that road going in the direction of the war museum, if I remember you'll see either a family mart or a mini tesco lotus on the left, robs bar is just across from it
-
Great full English breakfast at " one more bar" not sure about the coffee as I go for a nice mug of tea,

Interesting find, well done guzzie, gives me cause for concern as I'm often riding for excessive times at those mentioned speeds,, yikes

Careful what you buy on that aliexpress,, I was heavily stung for sidebags for my bike,, I'd guess about 40% over product cost, I know duty can be charged regardless of which online supplier but just sayin, I now try to be careful and order if possible from inside thailand
Lazada guarantees no import duties added to the advertised price. It's in their terms and conditions pages, and regardless of country of origin.
Good to know, the statement highlighted is not incorrect then

As some mentioned above, if COD then I've never had a problem and always happy with the service, but if COD not an option then it usually means it's from an international supplier and I wouldn't touch it, normally somewhere in the product info if I remember correctly it tells whether international or local

Ok, I see you've already made the journey so my input is pointless but here's the input for what it's worth anyway would've suggested train to ayuthaya, minivan I think 703 from robinsons in Ayuthaya to Suphanburi (don't think there's direct to kanchanaburi from ayuthaya) from Suphanburi take bus 411 to kanchanaburi leaves approx every hour, I had assumed there were regular minivans running between kanchanaburi and sukothai but maybe I'm mistaken
-
Not only versys, er6 and ninjas also, these bikes very popular here,, wife was in to my local dealer yesterday, confirmed for 7th April to get mine done, they also had bikes in from Singburi getting the job done, which is around 80 odd km from Suphanburi

Correct, he was asking you mogandave, which is why I advised him since he attached my name to the quote,,, you sure are confused
-
Better ask Mogandave that question
-
"mogandave"
While I am all for treating dogs that behave well, to treat them when they are growling and whatnot seems a little bone-headed to me.
I hear you, you're entitled to your opinion on that mogandave,, just be careful if you ever do get the opportunity to use that pocket knife in self defence that you don't cut yourself, that's advice from someone who has used knives as their main tool of work for many years, you may find that the cut in your hand might be worse than the bite from the dog,, me, I've never been bitten by a dog yet, any confrontation with aggressive dogs seems to work for me by continuing on my ways without showing the dog any fear but at the same time not showing any aggression, best of luck to you
-
I said try reading people's posts, the OP is asking about dangerous dogs, I'm sure he's more interested in avoiding getting to the stage of being bitten rather than being Rambo and reacting after being bitten,
If you've been around dogs as you say all your life you should know that stray dogs are unpredictable, acting in an aggressive manner is quite possible to provoke a reaction from the dog, for your info I've also been around dogs all my life from retrievers (both golden and flatcoat) to samoyed's, newfoundland's and boxers, currently have a pet golden retreiver and 3 Thai dogs, I'm no expert to the reaction of stray dogs but just offering my advice to the OP, but I certainly haven't been so afraid of any dog that would warrant me carrying a pocket knife to protect myself, don't much go around with treats in my pocket either, just offering non confrontational advice to the OP,

My nearest dealer is approx an hour plus drive from Bangkok beside a provincial town I asked why so busy that they have waiting list, they said they will get bikes up from some of the BKK dealerships also so I guess some of this workload for this may be shared between them
-
Funny guy, give it a break mate and try reading people's posts before ranting utter BS, If it makes you happy to claim to be the dog terminator with the pocket knife then go for it
-
Nope moganddave,, you're ass about tit there,,, if you want to give the dog a treat "after" it bites you then you're welcome to,, I certainly wouldn't,, but I'd sure fancy my chances by other means rather than try to be Rambo with a pocket knife
-
The best line of defence works most times for me is just to ignore them, don't stop walking, if they're directly in your path then walk slightly off your track, a pocket knife as earlier mentioned in my opinion is as good as a dog treat, firstly because it usually means you have to bend down to do anything with a pocket knife which is a big no no if dog is in attack mode,, in fact carrying a few dog treats in your pocket would be a much better form of defence against the stray dogs

By the look of the photo in the merc, looks like the new owner muzzled the dog, hopefully it won't be a permanent fitting

Yes, I found an online international supplier as mentioned, but was looking at whether similar products were locally available, save on any duty and more easily accessible
Thanks anyway

If you can name one or more of the particular brands that you have seen that is proven to produce sufficient quantities of Allicin then I'd be delighted to find it, as far as I am aware the product I named in the title is one of few on the market, so if you have information on further brands I'd be delighted to hear
Thanks
-
Yes I know I should read the composition, which is why I'm looking for the above specific type or similar, apparently many of the available garlic tablets don't provide your body with the Allicin claimed, noting that Allicin is produced as far as I'm aware when 2 enzymes in fresh garlic are joined, as an example amongst other ways in crushing garlic,
but I'd love to be in a position like you and put fresh garlic in all my dishes, unfortunately since I work offshore away for 8 weeks at a time it's not really practical to be carrying quantities of fresh garlic in my suitcase every time, so looking for alternatives
Thanks
