As a result of social isolation has your immune system weakened and you are more susceptible to all viruses, bacteria and diseases?
Or, is this a hyperbolic exaggeration and have you assumed that if you had already caught Covid-19 by now you would have immunity from the SARS-CoV-19 virus? If so, you are made an assumption. I hope it is, but immunity is not yet proven.
I do not believe anyone's immune system could be changed in 2 months of relative isolation. Our immune systems are a result of ions of evolution. So, yes exaggeration. Harder and harder to read this virus for what it is.

With our weakened immune systems from isolation, it's only when not if.

Wearing the same mask daily with no idea how to put it on and take it off safely and dispose it is not only unsafe, but lets see how this works with this and other pathogens. Perhaps the virus load will make the wearer stronger?

Was one of my fav hotels to stay at. Made it a Christmas few nights annually for years and ate a fabulous dinner buffet there. Treated like appreciated guests by the excellent staff. I sincerely wish they can be re-employed soon.

That's funny, earlier today in the ThaiVisa newsletter there was an article that said Phuket had no new cases of covid.
https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1162271-phuket-officials-report-zero-new-confirmed-covid-cases/?utm_source=newsletter-20200502-0729&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsDepends on the time of the day. Test results take time still.

Its a good idea in densely populated places though most people have no idea how to manage the mask and are re-wearing the same mask day-after-day and would expect it it handled unsafely and sits on top of other used masks without ever cleaning or disinfecting. Studies have shown that the COVID-19 virus can survive for up to 72 hours on plastic and stainless steel, less than 4 hours on copper and less than 24 hours on cardboard. If WHO is to be believed. Not sure where copper surfaces are to be wary of! Perhaps in a beer brewery or other process plant?

The reaction of the spread of the Covid-19 became more acute.

I went out to collect our monthly food supplies this morning. What is apparent are a lot of people congregating around the outdoor markets in Pattaya. Sitting among hundreds of slippers as marker places for when the charitable come to give out free food. I saw a lot of people sitting on the dirt looking very miserable. If the stopped economy is not jump started now, this can only get worse. Those people could care less about C19 if they are facing starvation having nothing left to sell or trade.

Plenty of rain on the Eastern Seaboard for the past week. How much rain does it take to refill the reservoirs?

If they force and not allow any will power. Ban it and let it bite them on the backside when it is finally allowed. Stick to green tea. Not that an labor worker will do that, but the bigger drinkers abstaining and reputation as a country that will ban while you are visiting on holiday? Reap what they sow! The next Brunei of tourism in ASEAN! That will be hard to swallow!

Ok, lets see my two cents.
I considered South America for some time--not anymore.
Started from Dominican republic--two hours fly from Miami is the only benefit. Visited 4 cities--all distinct 3-d world smell. Beggars, rip-offs, garbage etc--keep it. Females consider themselves high level and speak only Spanish. Food lousy, properties overprized. No public transportation from airport.
Costa Rica--visited multiple times--lousy--overrun with homeless in capital--negative impression on everything.
Panama--no public transportation from airport, high crime.
Ecuador--on internet was looking good till this virus hit and suddenly everything bad and corpses laying everywhere.
Columbia--you need good luck having with you.
Mexico--no, thank you.
It maybe strange but you need good luck to survive.
Luck can be made, good or bad!

Assuming that some day in the future the world will open up again, there has been a change in Thai immigration that could very well last longer than this crisis. Apparently they are now requiring a statement of all recently travelled to countries. Well that could be a problem with a number of Latin American countries that are on Thailand's yellow fever vaccination required list, including Colombia. Before I think if you weren't flying into Thailand directly from one of those countries this would probably have been overlooked. But if its there on black and white on a form it seems like they would need to enforce it. So why not just get a yellow fever vaccine certificate? Sure you could. It's a major hassle to do in Thailand though and also generally considered on the risky side for people over 60. Add to that it's a stupid requirement unless you're travelling to an effected reason within the country. For example if you were traveling to the Amazon region of a country, you really would want it for health reasons. Otherwise, not really.
I was travelling to Brazil extensively in 2018. After the 3rd trip, I stopped to fill the form in Swampy that I had just returned from Brazil. I had no Yellow Fever vaccination certificate, they have a small clinic next to where the forms are and they give you the vaccination on the spot for 300 baht, and a vaccination booklet with the YF stamp in it. Perhaps if there is C19 vaccination, this could be done traveler-by-traveler as well like this.

IMO this booze ban is aimed directly at foreigners
Thais have ways and means and are not affected in any way close to foreigners except those that depend on the sales
Then they can have a tourism industry like Brunei has. Pretty scenic white sand beaches, nobody, not even locals on them.

Country tanked is new normal! Good to hear politicians offering solutions like this!

7 new cases today! 3 from just 1 house! Another month lock down makes perfect sense.

Here's a good counter-measure, when they eventually lift the ban, don't buy any!

The booze ban will definitely help the recovery! Nobody wants to come to Thailand and have a beer or wine on their holiday.

I can't even walk the beach road in jomtien anymore. The one in front of view Talay 5. It was crowded 3 weeks ago when there was still a risk. Now that we are nearly virus free, there is police closing of more and more.
So we destroy the economy For 7 new cases per day ??? For54 people dead in 3 months ? This while on an average normal day in Thailand 65 people die on the road
There's just no sense anywhere right now
We can't handle the truth is what this is saying.

They were busy some 15-20yrs ago ..... my hand is still sore from ringing that damn bell
Lots of memories of a different and way more interesting and fun Thailand from back then. That was a time when a recovery of tourism post 97-99 Asian financial crisis occurred. The govt at the time was more pro-tourism extending its welcome to adventure seeking people from everywhere. Danny Boyle directed The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio released in March 2000 which helped the rebirth of tourism in Thailand after several heart breaking years of loss.
This pandemic is far worse than the 97-99 crisis. TAT will need more than slick media and the help of Hollywood to dig out of this hole. No plan will be the right plan so they better have an epic book of plans to launch when the world opens back up to tourism including a business continuity book of plans and back up plans. Survival of the fittest is again the world's motto.
Stay safe everyone!

My family visiting from America end of June have cancelled their flights and hotel reservations in Pattaya first then on Koh Chang. That the govt banning alcohol sale for months at a time, if travel is even allowed, their beach holiday makes no sense. Not that travel will be permitted or people from America will be on the list allowed in anytime soon. They will go to Cancun instead.

How do I fly in a dog to Thailand? I am planning on leaving Thailand with my dog and then coming back after 70-90 days what do I need to do to fly with my dog?

I know from Russian friends, they could travel to Russia and back to Thailand with their small breed dogs by informing the airline in advance only. It will depend on your destination and you can google that countries rules for traveling from Thailand to it with your dog.
