What true value does a paper document have if the technology is present to tie it to one’s visa status when a person renews or departs…As in Thai cases, registration if tickets go unpaid… the tech is there if thailand lived in the tech world…But thailand still functions in the paper world of making copies and signing everything go paperless thailand….the tech is there to do so and enforce w/o having a paper trail…in the end it doesn’t matter if the ticket is eaten thrown away or lit on fire. If the authority issues/communicates with the violator, then the authorities should be allowed to deny registration on unpaid tickets… if the headlines is correct, then the courts made a bad ruling…it makes it sound like authorities can’t deny registration even if tickets are not paid… this could be bad journalism as well

If they had proper protocol on what to do when a renter/jet ski goes missing but they don’t… incredibly inefficient…so the owner goes looking aimlessly wasting time and not contacting proper authorities to do a search…yet waited 5 hours for an exhausted swimmer/renter to appear to initiate a proper search that my friends is how people die solely based on wrong decisions/incompetence not to initiate a proper search…time is the most important factor and the owner is dicking around cluelessly…doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in emergency management and decision making on when to act in a timely fashion
