after one week i've heard from 4 or 5 people getting that stamp.

without any clear rules it seems to be just a warning like it is in Penang for over two years already.

After at least 2000 people have applied for a visa this week in Vientiane.........what did those get who wanted a double entry tourist visa (especially those who hat more than 2 doubles already in the passport)?

Nobody of the average 500-1000 people applying a tourist visa on Monday (passport back on Tuesday afternoon) have complained yet.

IF there would be a serious issue about it........the members or guests would have flood this thread like crazy.

If you want to do that legally, hire some crooks in Poipet.

They will do the whole thingy in the TE in PP and bring it back to you.

I just don't see the advantage of it........waiting in a sh'thole like Poipet for 2 nights and paying a ridiculously high amount to those scambodian agents.

Based on the fact that you are legally married, I don't see any problems for you, getting the non-imm-o multiple entry (based on the marriage). You only have to do a visa run every 90 days and can use it for 15 months.

They say, that you can get them easily in Penang and KL, if you can show the usual documents and a bankbook with about 100K Baht on it.

Just come back from Vientiane today, U need to supply fully filled in applcation form and copy of passport photo page. Apply before 11 am pick visa up next day after 1pm, get there early consulate opens at 8.30 am. and two passport photos touts ouside the consulate will do everthing for u for about 150 baht.

Please tell us how many TVs have been already issued in your PP.

Why blame the whole issue on illegal teachers? Is there any reason for that to force such a huge visa problem?

Why are teachers working in Thailand anyway??? Go get your azz to Cambodia or Vietnam. Easy process to start work and at least double the salary with student who actually WANT to learn that language.

Why the big fuzz about that new....regulation...?!?! What does that new text in the first posting actually says?? I can't see any numbers in there.

i.e. After 2 consecutive Tourist Visas you have to stay 180 days out of Thailand........

I remember 2006 when they've tightened up the visa runs, all the "real" visa holders (including the ones with tourist visas) talked bad about the so called low life visa run scum...........

Now they (try to) tighten up the tourist visa rules, you call the people with a proper tourist visa low life scum (again).......are you craving for recognition?P

How nice it is to see them sitting at the stone table in front of the 7/11 every day at 9 a.m. with the 3rd Chang bottle in their throat, or hanging around like rats at the beach road after midnight to get a 15 year old freelancer for 100 Baht while checking the grotty and spotty 5-days-not-washed-Singha-Muscle-Shirt for that special musky odor before cleaning their 5 or 6 remaining teeth with a toothpick............yeah.....you are sooooo elite......that's quality behavior on the highest level........you can be so proud of yourselves, because you have a proper visa........

Where in Bangkok can i find the "better" quality of those guns. There is a lot of plastic rifles available, but i want a solid rifle with full metal gears.

I am living just a few kilometers away from Aranyaprathet, but i really hate to travel with the bus in the sh*thole Phnom Penh, stay there 2 nights and then go back.

Is there a trustworthy so called messenger service directly accessible in Poipet?

If so.....it should be quite cheaper. A double entry is $70........so why pay 1000% more??? (without all the extras of course)

I came back from BKK already.

So good to be back home.

We've found a few shops and after considering the offers we took a very cheap (but good) "starter kit" with free home delivery.

Saved us at least 10000 Baht altogether.

After that.....we (my wife and the guy who was carrying the bags) went to Pratunam and guess what..........SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!

She made sure that the above mentioned savings were transformed in nice pants, shoes, shirts and so on..........business usual.
