Tell your boss that you will get the Labour office involved. If it is an unfair dismissal, then 9 out of 10 they get sht scared and backoff. If not got to the Labour office, bring your work contract and all correspondence concerning your problem at work. You don't need a lawyer, the Labour office will sort severance pay out for you if you worked longer than 120 days.

To go to court, you need a lawyer. The court case is in Thai language. You have to pay for the lawyer and won't get refund when you win. So you would loose a lot more money going to court and win then the ticket is worth. -

Look in your passport, do you have an extension of stay or a visa. how long did you work for them? What was the reason to terminate? You might have right on sufferance pay. -

Busking on the street, working without a work permit. -
I live in Bangkok and outside the tourist areas i never have a problem. Inside the tourist areas and in Phuket (lived there before) overcharging is a big problem. I never had any violence issues but know many stories from Phuket where they attacked non tuk tuk drivers when they thought they where "stealing" business.
