  1. an LTZ as it comes as standard, from the factory, without any extras.

Can someone else explain this to this guy? He still doesn't get it. :whistling:

Cruze 1.8 - This is the Car.

    LS - standard/base

    LT - more extras

    LTZ - even more extras

Maybe I should draw a diagram.

Oke then, can you buy additional accessoires for an LTZ ?

  2. I am new to this website. I do apoligise if i am asking this in the wrong thread. I am a UK Citizen, arrived in Bangkok in Aug 2nd 2011, they've given me 30days standard, i didn't apply for any visas or anything. Now i want to extend it until September 15th. How do i go about doing that? Im currently in Bangkok right now. I am staying with a friend, so will i have to show any documents of any sorts?

You can get an extension at any Immigration Office, but a 30 Day Visa on Arrival you can only extend for 7 days max. You could do a visa run to a land border which will give you 15 days. More info on this forum, just do a search

  3. Perhaps you could accept that nobody has ever made the silly suggestion that it is possible to opt to have options taken off the LTZ to reduce the price?

    Jesus.. Here we go again.

If you take options OUT, then you have an LT.

Can you have an LTZ without cruise control? NO. Seriously.. Let it go.

As to all the other comments, it's not that I can't see the bad points about a Chevy Cruze. I just can't see the opinions of people who have never even been inside the car, which it's pretty much ALL of you. So, your opinions about the car don't really matter because you haven't even been inside of one.

Whether the Focus or the Lancer are better, that's a matter of opinion. Some will like the Cruze better and some won't. The one thing nobody can argue is that the Chevy Cruze is INFINITELY better than a Civic or a Corolla.

    disagree

Altis Corolla more rear seat space with more legroom, and qualified service and spareparts all over Thailand, and great secondhand value and reliability.

Civic handles, steer and brakes much better than both, and is almost on par with Toyotas dealer and parts network

Both 1,8 feels much more powerfull than Cruze 1,8

So based on these facts, Altis and Civic are MUCH better than Cruze :D

and I have driven Cruze, 1,8LTZ and a 1,6 cheapie. Not much to brag about

its an average car in this segment, and its great crash safety scorings are not valid in Thailand, due to lack of the safety features providing these scores

    That's your opinion.

A 1.8 Civic is a cheap tin can compared to a Cruze. Civic is pretty much the worse car out there in this segment, and the upcoming new one is even worse. Just another comment that confirms the fact you've never been inside a Cruze.

and an Altis is a taxi.

Didn't someone showed a picture of a Cruze being used as an Taxi (with an TRD sticker, if I can remember it correctly) :whistling:

  4. The other day in Tesco's car park, walking towards the entrance and watch this dick head trying to maneuver his saloon into this tiny gap cos it was near the entrance. The plonker didn't realize until he final did it that he couldn't open the doors .

Did he then do the Mr. Bean trick ? Reversed, got out of his car and pushed it back in the same parking spot ?

  5. ............

On the plus side, you can now obtain a 90 visa, with no limits. Meaning you can get as many 90 visas you want. You wont have to be out of the country for 6 months before the next visa. I guess they just want you to get a regular visa.

    ................

Please correct me if I'm wrong!!!

Where did you get that info from that you can get as many 90 (day) Visa's you want ??

  6. Thai Embassies and Consulates abroad to be stricter with requirements when applicants are applying for Tourist visas for Thailand.

Does this apply to "Visa Exempt" entry also?

What happens if the tourists are staying with friends?

Or if you are married to a Thai citizen and will be staying at their/your residence.

Too me this sounds like another way to kill tourism.

If you are married to a Thai Citizen you can get a Non-O visa.
