There's loads of places the length of the east side of the moat (Tai Pae Gate side) take your pick from any of those. Honda dreams for 3000 baht per month

Citirin Bar should be your default place to watch Football in Chiang mai, the Commentary does be in Thai but doesn't bother me, well used to it by now. Also the drink is cheap, great Isaan food.
Inside Park before JJ market
Koi (spelling) Chiang Mai, wooden decked out place along the north east side of the moat
There's a few spead out aroung the city you'll have to drive around, places like Kad Nong Hoi and Kad Kom most likely be showing it.
If you really need English commentary there's the Half Moon Bar Moon Muang soi 2
There's more, that's all I can think of for now.

Buying your ticket online or using the loyalty card and manchine are all great ideas but becomes completely useless when you arrive with your ticket, go to the food counter and there is a long que of people trying to make up their mind on what movie they want to see and where to sit.
That's a shambles!
-
The long queues are mainly because the majority of customers can't seem to understand the seat and screen layout. I've never seen people take so long to decide where to sit.
They also seem to not know what they want to see. It's like they go up to the counter a say "what movies have you got?" Then deliberate on what they want to see.
-
Started it some time ago just after the refurbishment.
Usually buy ours there whilst getting the popcorn etc, normally avoids the long queue. The staff will often redirect those in the main queue to the other ticketing options including the online ticketing and the food counter.
I would say that is a definite improvement?
Hmmm maybe because I was caught out and ended up queuing twice. I know now to go straight to the popcorn stand. But still think its a bad idea. Will see after a few more runs
-
Never heard that they sell tickets, I know they show the promotions about tickets and popcorn for a good cheap price.
You never heard that they sell tickets? How do you enter the screen without a ticket?
-
Why is that stupid? A shambles even?
Because it causes a big disorganised que

Sometimes the stupidity in Thailand astonishes me. Just been to major cineplex over in the airport plaza, after queuing for 15-20 min for a ticket ( witch is fair enough because it's busy) then head over to the food counter for some popcorn to find that they are selling tickets there also, <deleted>?
Shambles!

Are you serious? Maybe I don't understand exactly what you are asking.
What is there not to understand? Phones can cost more 25000 baht now a day, having your phone insured to cove lose or theft ect is not uncommon in our home countries.
-
Is there such thing as phone cover insurance available here?

Isaan sausage is like a bullet in the head. One is enough. Why eat that muck when you can easily get good English style sausage. Or is it that you can't fry or grill?
Eh Because I don't want English style sausages, I want Isaan sausage. They're two completely different things

They are talking about Nana Plaza on soi 4 in Bangkok - not that I am familiar with the place.
Oh, I was thinking they were talking about Kad Sompet. Did I post in the worng forum or something? is this the Chiang Mai board?
-
We do not know where you are Hans. Or do you assume all Farang in Thailand live merrily together on soy 4?
Soi 4? Witch Soi 4? There must be thousands of soi 4s in Chaing Mai
I'm in the city and have wheels, so I can go anywhere

Nana has plenty of em.
That's so dim witted

I'm going through a phase of eating isaan sausage particularly the balls, but believe it or not I'm finding it hard to find them during the daytime. So anyone know where a vendor is operating during the day?

I like a bit of Thai pop but this is awful <deleted>, what's with the beer gut as well?

Mrs Hans has been with her phone company (AIS) for a number of years, but her current phone an iPhone 3GS she bought in Singapore a couple of years back, was not apart of her contract, so I guess she wouldn't be entitaled to an upgrade. AIS said she can buy a new IPhone 5 and they'll transfer her contrat over. Witch is a bit of a bum deal.
I know in Europe you can get a free handset or a handset for 100 or 200 euro if you sign up for a 12 month contract. Do they have the similar deals here?
If so, where's the best place to go?

There's a place over at Kad Kom, it's called LITE (I think) it's a few doors down from the 7/11and Tescos, opposite the car par of the market.
