2nd You're under the impression that I think 1500baht is expensive, It's not.

My point being is that the price was given to me via a middle man, I just want to cut out the middle man as that's the way I do all my business dealings. In the future if I need more work done, why sould I go through middle man all the time?

Where could I get my motorbike resprayed? Mr mechanic said they could get it done for me for 1500bath so I presume I could get it done for half the price if I could go straight to the man.

I took a couple of friends there a few weeks ago on a Wednesday night having remembered the post by Nancy and the Wednesday special, arrived about 8pm and there were no customers. Went across the road to Samo (drinks promotions there are not what they used to be) for a couple of drinks, returned at 10pm to see if had livened up but there was still nobody there.

There used to be a very popular place there which shut down about a year ago. No idea why it closed down. Also a few bars on the left between Smiths and the RattiLanna Hotel have also disappeared, including one run by an English guy and his wife. It was a nice little area of bars a couple of years ago, but now only Samo and the deserted Smith Pub remain.

This English guy and his wife are now on the kamphaeng ding Rd.

I'm heading down to BKK for a couple of days and I was thinking of booking into Nasa Vegas. It's within my budget for this trip. it looks good on their website but so do Big Macs on the menus.

Is it alright, any thoughts?

It wasn't too long ago they're were around 1000 baht. The last time I flew up was April and it was 1750 baht.

Do you think if I leave it until a few hours before I might get one cheaper,the price may drop to fill up the plane?

I know of twelve or fifteen hotels with in room hot tubs under 2000 Baht per night but sorry I can not help you because I do not know any around 3000 Baht per night.

So under 2000 baht does not qualify as less than 3000 baht?

Try the saturday market past Ban Tawaii on the way to Doi Inthanon. Get there early, I think it starts at 6am

5000 - 6000 Baht. I don't think so. More likely 10 000 - 15 000 Baht.

You can get some bangers in that range at that market, your right though there is more choice in the 10-15k range but there are still bikes in the lower range. Not sure how long they would last but he says he wnts a banger and for that price he'll get what he pays for.

I'm pretty handy with a spanner so a rough one would do because I could fix anything that goes wrong with one myself.
