  1. . . . ."Meanwhile, an investigator, Police Lieutenant Veerachon Khonthai, who had conducted the investigation into the death of Daniel, developed acute diarrhoea on Monday night after eating at a restaurant in Udon Thani.". . .

    Which restaurant?

perharps one (of the many) operating without licence,

or owned by policeman's mia noi,

or owned by a former city mayor (as on the case of chiangmai hotel)

  2. I tought if you where born in Thailand you are Thai citizen and get nationality regardless if the mothers entered the Kingdom illegally

And Issara said illegal surrogate mothers faced tougher punishment in Vietnam compared to Thailand.

The beautiful and human Thailand (Land of Smiles) when you come for a 2 week holiday and use at least 300 000 baht

the citizenship by birth came automatically following a birth registration, and is quite obvious those vietnamese mothers could not go to city hall and say "i'm illegaly here but had a baby".

  3. men who claim they had fathered the babies are unable to provide evidence and take custody of the children.

:whistling: A simple DNA test takes about 2 hours... :ermm:

you may be the genetic father, but according to thai law, parental power of a child born outside marriage is exclusive of the mother, unless she agree to share or cease it.

on the other hand, you can't be forced to $upport a baby that is born outside marriage, if you don't want to...

now, if you were a thai male on duty to legislate about this matter, would you change something of this law?

    :whistling:

  4. What law are they meant to have broken?

Taking money for traveling expenses? No.

    Illegal sex? - No.

Prostitution forced or otherwise? - No.

Done something some people find distasteful? - perhaps.

    I don't understand.

    me too

    copy&paste from a topic i've started few months ago (http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/408599-is-swinging-illegal-in-thailand'+base%3D/ )

ok, can we say it, among thai laws

there is not offence for "swinging" ?

and those arrested during the party are charged of :

    - lewd act (although in a private house?!), [patrons]

    - pimping, [party's organizers]

    - prostitution, [prostitutes]

are we 100% sure? because in some countries... ohmy.gif

  5. still waiting for the very first Crackdown On THAI citizens Child-Abuse Offenders In Thailand ...

seems like not much people pay attention (or have idea) of how many brothels (with child workers) ther are countrywide .... and the patrons are just thai citizens

    http://www.sexwork.c...land/child.html

...However in the local brothels for Thai men, where prostitution has flourished for centuries as part of local tradition so does child prostitution.

  6. colabamumbai,

at this point is clear, the so-called ex thai husband has never really been "ex"....

so, you should ask for an annulment rather than divorce (section 1506), i wonder why your lawyer didn't made you aware of this solution huh.gif

or go on with the divorce and clai for a compensation (section 1516 1 CCCT), also from the person who had taken liberties with "your wife".

or using the threatens files (section 1516 3 CCCT)

    STD tests are exttremely suggested

  7. In fact, it was of his concern.

Watching how innocents, including women and children are brutally massacred only to ask the right to be respected and to eat twice a day instead once a day when they are lucky, it is a matter of concern of any human being who is not bloody selfish and who believes freedom and human rights are universal and not limited to races or borders.

    .....

It is anybody's choice to have the kind of life we choose, but instead spitting on somebody who -maybe naive - but only dreams about better life for everybody, is not a fair behaviour.

  8. The contract seems to be in her name, so when the final payment is done the car will be in her name. That you paid for it doesn't mean anything, she can just claim it was a gift from you. On you the burden of proof that the misses agreed to give you the car.

I assume you are still married. If so, all wealth acquired during the marriage needs to be split when you divorce. That includes the (value of) the car.

In isaan I would recommend isaanlwyers, they have a good reputation in family law.

    wait a minute.

assuming that he was legally maried with the lady

the car's purchasing contract was signed while they were husband and wife

and it works as for the others family assetts.....

is some way should have been "splitted" at the time of the divorce.... 2 years ago.

You mention your son was "snatched" from the nursery.

I would really like to hear how that's possible and which nursery?

Did you have a list of people allowed to pick up your son and if so, who signed for him ?

Anyway, as a father, I too feel saddened by your situation.

    All the best of luck.

    list of people allowed?

    signature?

....who would guess which is Bo 7%'s last quoted line and my first line written?(not to consulting the original post by clicking on snapback, and having a good memory)

  11. PATTAYAONE.NET REPORTS

    ...

    So it is clear

    1. He is the FATHER

    so....

    :)

the article you've quoted says he's her HB too..

don't you think would easy for the police to find out full name, address (abroad too) and passport number of a foreigner legally married in thailand and legally father of the child?

having access to the weddings & birth registrations database (available at city hall, then immigration office) in a couple of keyboard clicks police would be aware of those info...

    on the contrary

if he's not the legal father nor the legal HB, keeping the baby with him could be considered a crime, in case the real father would report a kidnapping, and believe me, as in this case the alleged kidnapper would be a foreigner, the police would not behave as with Martin's mother-in-law kidnapper of the little Tristan....

  12. sorry Martin for the OT, but in someway i think can be useful in future.... if not for you, for he others victims of the system , as me

.. he did have evidence that he always had paid and cared for the children in the past....
same point, i have dozens of shopping's receipts including diapers and formula milk, but i was told (by my lawyer) those receipt could be picked up from the garbage and aren't considered evidence as there's not my name upon...

for what concern the evidence of caring the child, that's the worst point, as the opponent can easily recruit witnesses ready to say to the court that i used TO KICK my 3 months old daughter, and further (that's the best) they're available to witnessing they've heard me reading loudly a banned book about H.M. ... putting me automatically in charge for lese majeste...

    :)
