In Udon Thani, they are available at Big C on Nittayo Road at the flyover.

Maybe they are doing this nationally?

Produced by SIAC-Wuling motors, and has a LFP battery bank, considered one of, if not the safest battery chemistry for EVs.

SAIC-MG motors safety record for EVs is excellent ... IMHO ... so no worries, IF I was buying.   Bring the price down to 350k, and I might pick one up.  For those iffy weather days when I can't use the scooter.

Not the best specs though, and Neta V is a few baht more.  Depends on one's needs, and fine tuning research of the alternatives.

This might be insightful, to Wuling products:

Although, not sure I would want to take a hard crash in anything that small.  But if knocking around my little town, that doesn't seem to be a problem, as haven't seen 1 accident yet, in 5 yrs living here.  Unless on hwy #4, which is easily avoided, and have seen no accidents on the stretch bordering town.  Amazingly so.

It would be the Ncap ratings of more concern, I see so many crashes here......

Saw this last Sunday at Central Plaza in Korat.
At about 500k and 8 years warranty on the battery it's sure worth the change.
But would like to read first the "fine print" about the 8 years warranty on the batteries ...

I have to un-/plug the wireless dongle because the CarPlay does sometimes not start on the Ora GoodCat's display (stuck with the initialisation screen). I have the same experience with my Honda Goldwing, but it is more cumbersome to un-/plug the dongle in the trunk while driving. I have not been able to replicate the fail scenario.

Ok thanks - appreciate the feedback

Point taken. But a Dongle, be it Apple Play, Bluetooth or USB is un-necessary on a modern car/radio.

Radio 2 or Classic FM is clearer on my car radio than Thai FM radio!

    Once again you assume!

My wifes car has a tv in the roof for our son - car play would mirror his device

My wifes car has rubbish sat nav - car play would mirror google maps to the car

Does my justification now merit a response other than you dont need it.........which you are not able to offer as you see this as little more than folly

No, anyone who does not understand my answer is the simple one.

I am not chastising anyone, simply saying it as it is.

It was not an answer to the question, it was social posturing!

I asked about a dongle to use for Apple car play - if you dont know, its ok to say nothing.

    apparently I was wrong.......

  10. No mention at all of this local Rota virus in the press, the word is that its attributed to the water/ice making facility on the island. At l a local sporting even thisweek at least 10 kids pulled out and some local hospitals are reporting high(er) numbers of cases.

    Any one with further info?

You get what you pay, or don't pay for!

Go on, give us a clue.....DFSK.

    Chat just told me:

DFSK is a Chinese automobile manufacturer that specializes in producing affordable commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The company was founded in 1969 as a small workshop producing auto parts and bicycles, and has since grown into one of China's largest auto companies. DFSK is best known for its range of mini-vans and mini-trucks, which are popular in China and other parts of Asia. In recent years, the company has also expanded into producing electric vehicles, and has launched several EV models in its home market.

so I take it you dont know
