Good to know. I have never seen them, but I usually pass at around 7am.

AirAsia from dmk return is thb 4616 all in. Won't find much cheaper. It also instills a certain level of trust in the van/boat. AA must have a level of quality/safety. You would think. Also, no hassles or ripoffs. Boat ride is quoted at 2hrs, so may stop in Krabi or Lantz or both.

AirAsia offers this service. Do a check flight search. From DMK, when the to options pop up you will see an islands heading. Includes flight to HKT, transfer to Rassada pier, and boat.

I have 3BB fiber with a Minix android box and the speed test to local Phuket node is around 80M. The number on the upper right of the screen is often under 1M. Last week when I complained, the speed miraculously increased to 7M for about an hour. I think it's too much volume / not enough investment in equipment.

ILikeHD has been bad the last few weeks. Stream freezing up on many channels. They suggest a reboot, which usually works for about 10 minutes. The service was much better 6 to 8 months ago. Anybody else having problems?

The old terminal handled much the same number of international flights. Where did those previous computer terminals go ? Just a short move over to the new international terminal.
True LIK. Old imm was manual keying in of data. Old officers should have transferred to new terminal? So, similar number of incoming passengers and similar staff competence should result in similar wait times. You would think?
Happy for my APEC card!

No ... it's the first set of traffic lights on the main north bound highway after the Thalang road traffic lights. A good few klicks before the new airport road lights. It's a slower twisty road but shorter distance than going more north and up the new airport road , so much the same time.
Rubber plantation on left?

I'll be using the old airport road.
Is that the one that eventually comes out in Thalang on the road going toward Laguna? Many turns. I always get lost.

Smells like Nirvana.

Typical government busy work for the other lady. Moving papers from one pile, shifting to another pile, and then back again..

If I was the Novotel, I wouldn't like that one bit. Muddy ocean after rain.

That area on the other side of the road is a semi-swamp when it rains. The water coming off the hills settles there. I'm sure the first step will be to fill it in with dirt.
So all the runoff will go where?

That bend is frequently "straight-lined both ways. Some plastic dividers on the center line would help going south.
Going north towards Central, I sometimes straight line using the hard shoulder. Need to keep your eye out for motorbikes coming the wrong way though.

But you CAN use the term "assembled in Malaysia with parts from various countries".
True. The Malaysian assembly factory would them need to be audited and then can be listed on the manufacturers approval certificate as an approved factory. Follow the paper trail.
Since these buses carry high pressure gas, there is a H&S issue. Insurance companies will want to know too.
-
Too many red flags. Where was acceptance test conducted? More importantly, to what code/standard were they built to (remember this is a high pressure gas)? The factory that is approved to build it will be on a document saying so.

Apply internationally recognized rules of origin. You can't just slap on the wheels in KL and say it's Malaysian made.

FIT's are more likely to use internet room portals, so overall it will be a wash.
