Hope the food will be better than the one served on board. Their biz class food is equal to Singapore air economy class food. I never received from any other airlines my food in warm aluminum container but in nice china . TG was good .. it has became a nightmare.

This is very different than a tsunami .... I was in the middle of it in 2004 and went back to phuket area 2 weeks after ..yes was amazingly clean and quiet .... but in the case of oil , it goes down in the sand and stick to rocks .... it can take years before every pieces gone.

Maybe before talking about tourism improvement , make sure the water and beaches are totally clean ... whatever the price is cheap wont bring back people if the island is still dirty.

Good luck to them but I think 2 weeks its a bit short ... in my country we had to face the biggest oil slick , Amoco Cadiz in the 70's and Erika in the 90's it took years before all went back to normal , ok it was much more oil true ... let see !

Its also funny to see that beside all mafia are working in secret ...many here think to know in what business they are involved ... All mafia are involve in prostitution,drugs etc ... Can be Russian, Italian, Chinese, Thai I dont think the Russian mafia is more active than another in Pattaya or Phuket. But I noticed many Thai visa guys dont like russian at all .... well I like Russian very much ....
