I have had Viofo A129s front and rear fitted in the last couple of vehicles along with a power box that keeps the camera rolling on a low frame rate whilst parked. They have wifi which may be of use whilst in discussion with local BIB as you can have instant replay on your phone. There are many comparison videos on YouTube. The Viofo usually comes off well in price v performance. Like others I had mine fitted in Amnuay Motor Air 2. 500B and about 30 minutes. There are no reflection issues with my vehicle. I purchased mine from Lazada.

Cataract surgery in St. Peters is about 70k and in Sriphat around 50k. Had an eye done in each. I had single focal lenses and can read without glasses but easier with. For riding and driving excellent. Trouble is everything's so bright you need 2 pairs of sunglasses! Age wise, I'm a little senior to you.

Has it done years ago in the Ram under Professor Sudhee. At the time it was waking me up every night with pains in my right hand. It took 20 minutes during which Professor Sudhee (long retired) said it was easy to see which one, he said he moved a couple of veins out of the way and one blew up like a balloon from being flat. No problems since.

Thanks for that. What has caused the dramatic lowering in your opinion? What is the ideal pressure for a normal domestic water consumer?
I have no idea to either but I did set the pressure regulator to 3 bar which gave me good pressure everywhere and allowed multi tap use. Why has it lowered? Well, there is a noticeable drop in pressure through the night so are they saving money by shutting pumps off? Maybe that's a possibility.

In Sanpakwan it started off ridiculously high, so much so I bought a pressure regulator which showed it at 4 to 5 bar. These days it struggles to get over 1. I use the tank and pump to water the garden.

At Chiang Mai airport office? Rules have been the same for many a day either wait or pay the 500 for next day service.
Yes at the airport office. The rules have been intermittent and variable for years. One day yes, one day no. Best to allow 3 weeks just in case.

Correct on both points. If you require next day service the fee is 500baht.
I asked whether I could get one quicker than 3 weeks recently. I was told no. There is no garauntee that a next day service will be available.

Plenty of LNG gas just down the road in Australias' North West Shelf.
(Maybe Thailand buys from there, i have no idea)
A lot of that is contracted to China, I spent my last 5 working years running from Karratha to China. I believe Thailand imports some from Malaysia and the Mid East

Other areas are over 500 outside of Thailand so it's not the website itself.
I'm reading 220 PM 1.0 360 PM 2.5 460 PM 10 right now in Mae Jo. I didn't research how the AQI is calculated but I think that's higher than 500.
I have a house in Samoeng but it's wooden and not possible to run air purifiers so I'm not going up there at the moment but I've noticed they routinely shut off their meters. I know it's way over 500 up there in the mountains.
Same story in Pai. I have family there and know the area well. The smoke is far worse than CM at these times of years. No way it's only 500.
So yeah I'm alleging a nation wide conspiracy to rig the AQI monitoring in order to promote tourism. Not a far reach in my opinion.
From a previous burning season. There have been similar readings displayed this year.

Maybe 500 is the top of the calibrated range so anything higher just tops out at that value?
They have displayed well over 800 in previous years and this year. If it's being taken on Government land you might find the garden lawn sprinklers (!) influence the readings.

I was told by one test centre they could not test the car as it had dim blue LEDs in the front skirt, they had been there since new and they had tested the car every required year in its 14 year life. I went down the road to another test centre, passed without problem.

Have you thought about an NVR (Network video recorder)? With a 1tb hard drive I get about 3 months of playback with continuous recording from 4 cameras.

Your fault for stopping (lol) reminds me of an accident i was involved in......While driving my pick up a Thai driver smashed into the rear of my pick up, he had no insurance 75,000b damage to my vehicle, police and my insurance were called ... the police blamed me for stopping too quick, in an emergency braking situation, and insurance agreed with them <deleted>..
Yes Indeed it happens and whilst I wouldn't like to hit a dog ( in 30 odd years I've only hit a chicken and a pigeon) I would like an accident with another vehicle even less. I have front and back cameras on car and bike, it pays to protect yourself!

Chinese police presence in Thailand a “slap in the face” : ex-NIA deputy director

I sent this to a friend in Canada who is married to a Hong Kong lady. This was his response...
Does not boost the morale of Chinese on holiday but rather serves as a mechanism of returning them to detention on the Mainland.
We have had the issue of Chinese “Police Stations” in Canada which have been used to bring “wayward” citizens home.
My neighbour was Mainland Chinese and suddenly disappeared last Autumn with no notice and is now back in China. I spent last Winter shovelling his snow.
