At first I thought positive on this, get people on the trains, out of their cars, off the roads, all good. But does this line have capacity to handle more?.... Most of my metro rides in Bangkok I couldn't find a seat and was in close proximity to many! (That and simplify paying .. as I get older these ticket machines outwit me!)

My irritation is not particularly with him, it is with the way the justice system is being made a mockery of, and how it is highlighting the 'us and them' state of it! I am sick of hearing how people in power or with money can get away with anything, murder, corruption etc etc. The new government appears to be going along with that! Make Thaksin an advisor, haven't we got enough criminals in there already, and they certainty don't need advice from another crook?

Well it is supposed to be taxed at source... and UK does have a double taxation agreement, so I hope it would be safe. That said my State pension is below the UK tax free allowance, so in reality none is paid, but it would qualify for payments under Thailand's levels. Just have to see how it pans out, but I too would consider moving on if I am going to lose a fair percentage of my disposable income.

He must be getting better, perhaps he can be moved to the cells now!

Oh well, a coalition of the losers will have its weaknesses! Perhaps he doesn't want to upset Mr Anutin ATM.
