The USA system is not regarded highly by outsiders coming from countries where we pay our workers at least minimum wage. Putting the onus onto customers is difficult to grasp and opens up situations of conflict between cheap people, and mean/greedy servers. I believe there is confusion over there with some areas introducing minimum wage for serving staff, and a really out of control tipping scene in places like Vegas.

It might make Thailand look somewhat less corrupt and other political figures realize they are not above the laws, and integrity and responsibility is required of them. Sounds good, but nonsense with Mr T relaxing in a hospital waiting for his much reduced sentence to be shortened further.

I quite like the guy. If you had any negative information or knowledge of his ambitions, I was intrigued and wanted to know a source to read more, and check it out.
