Disagree.... if one can be prosecuted it is a law. The amendments to the US constitution carry more weight than the original text, particular if it affects it directly. Sub law suggests it is less than a law.... not the case.
That said, I do not think people from the West have the right to whine and complain how Thailand treats them wrt Immigration issues, and yet their countries treat Thais far worse.
I have a couple of neighbours I am quite friendly with, I ring their bell when the water delivery guy comes.....I would have no issue picking up for them. But you have point, I might not be so keen for the dodgy group living south of me.
Russia may well come to the aid of China if sanctions were imposed....they have a 4000km land border and North Korea would be involved in a port blockade... I do not have a lot of faith in sanctions achieving much... have they ever done?
So we need to have one set of laws for the poor, and another for the rich....... or one set for Thais, another for foreigners? Probably we got that already! Is that how they do it where you hail from?
I seem to recall that in early days of The Russian Invasion claims were made that Russia would be brought to it's knees by the sanctions.... does not seem to be the case after 6 months.
Yes I agree..... so many other countries the horns are incessant....here they are rarely used (apart from Grab and Post Office deliveries as they are too lazy to press a bell push). I can hear the barking dogs better in Thailand!
Or perhaps remain at a single 30 day extension on top of the 45 days? Likely make the situation more manageable, as isn't one determined by MOFA and the other controlled by Immigration Police?
Hard to say really..... would you not accept a package for a neighbour if they appeared to be out..... I would, presuming there was nothing to pay that is.
