I am seeking to move from BKK to Pattaya. Look for a furnished rental in Pattaya with easy access to motor bike taxis etc. Large studio or i bedroom with kitchen facilities and ability to install or get good internet. 40-50 sq.
I year rental budget 10-15,000 per month.
Can anyone suggest condo buildings or similar that may have suitable units available for me?
Thank u in advance.

Worst advice: to put ketchup on my ice cream.
Best advise: to stop smoking cigarettes.
To be remembered for: the last cheque(check) I issued which bounced.

I have to agree with many of the people posting here. The so-called businessman has " more money than sense".
British people in the UK may well be better off if they buy property in the UK as opposed to renting.
But especially for us Aliens living here in Thailand the rules are different.

Does True have this match live?
Otherwise anywhere else to view it live ...in particular on Internet?

I do not know the best cost effective method. But knowing how difficult it can sometimes be in transferring money out of Thailand from Thai Banks, why do u not investigate using Dee money to do the transfer?
Once you have opened the Dee account you can do the transfer in one transaction; takes about 1 day for the money to arrive.
I think good exchange rate and minimal charges.

Is the boy a gay?
If so and the family learn of that maybe they will offer 20,000 to make sure he stays in Pattaya?!

A few days ago I was locked out of my on line mobile account. In my case I went to my Bangkok Bank branch where i have my account, and was told due to security and anti fraud measures, I could only use one mobile device for mobile banking.
For non Thais they use your passport number to identify you as the account holder
Needed to provide passport copy, sign a form etc. They are also implementing facial recognition soon to do large account transfers. For more info look at Bangkok Bank web pages.
Bank transactions on my PC unaffected.
However, as to the OPs question, I believe that you may be able to unlock your account if you telephone the bank, explain your location and they will talk you through the unlocking process by sending a password to you.
I may be wrong but just phone the bank and ask....

My online application for Chaeng Wattana has also been pending for a week. Certainly taking longer than usual.
A week seems too long for CW...please post here if you get approval or otherwise.

When Covid was at its peak a BKK hospital not named knew that my insurance would pay for my treatment.
I was admitted,
Stayed about 6 nights. Only pills and nursing treating. Doctor came a few times only for a few moments.
Bill to insurance was 370,000 baht and to have my own small room I paid another 30k.
Total bill=
400,000 approx.
Later after Covid over, i consulted the same doctor on a separate issue who told me my Covid was minor.
But when I was admitted they made out I was on the danger list....

Ok that's good news.
So you can submit a TM-30 in sriracha with documents stating your address in pattaya, that's granted and you, can then do extensions in sriracha again using documents from address in pattaya ?
Interesting.
So what is being said, if living in Pattaya can avoid using Chonburi office at all and do annual extension at sriricha ?
Can I know do others living in Pattaya use sriricha, and what is your experiences?

Not required.
Assume you mean visit another province and return back to your place of residence.
Also not required for trips out of Thailand and back.
You assume correctly: I appreciate the succinct and helpful reply.

Gone downhill then. I've been considering moving back to Pattaya/Jomtien, after moving to Bangkok 4-5 years ago. Figured one of the bonuses was the ease of dealing with Jomtien Immigration compared to Chang Wattana. This has been a dose of reality. At least the agent fees are lower than Bangkok's.
I too am considering moving back to Pattaya from BKK but the posts here about Hell at immigration dissuade me.
We must have different experiences.
I do not use an agent.
For annual retirement extension at CW can book appointment online and not much waiting time.
90 day do online and usually no more than 3 days to get confirmation.
A few months back i was at CW early morning. Seen quickly .Got my Visa and then went to get re-entry permit.
All done by mid-morning.
The main problem is that CW is not easy to get to for most people.
Incidentally if live in BKK do not need to file TM 30 if leave to go elsewhere for a few days.
Can anyone tell me if u in in Pattaya and go to another Province etc do you need file a TM 30?
Thank you.

I live in BKK retirement visa.
My address registered in BKK for 90 day online reports.
If I visit Pattaya or Phuket or CM etc for a few days:
NO need inform immigration? Correct?
But if my friend on retirement visa has address in CM; if he visits BKK etc., a report need be made to immigration? Correct?
I know this been asked before, but clarification required.
Thank you.

Just to be clear for 1 year retirement visa and extension, whether with or without an agent, you MUST attend immigration in person for signing document, photo etc.
If anyone is saying that they pay money to an agent to avoid doing that, then the legality of your visa and extension is questionable.
If I am wrong, please ask ubonjoe (moderator and expert) to correct me.

Some immigration offices and immigration officers do in my experience staple documents in passports.
In my view you are entitled to ask immigration politely but firmly not to use a stapler to attach documents in your passport.
Previously I have carefully removed the stapled document using a staple remover and then used a paperclip to attach a document in the passport.
And I have asked immigration kindly not to use a stapler.
They do as requested.
The use of a stapler does damage a passport.
ps: you can also attach a note in Thai and English to your passport requesting them not to staple any document in your passport.
(attach the note with a paperclip )

I applied for my 90 day renewal on line(CW) on 10 March. Itis now the 15th but my application is still "Pending". Though within minutes of applying I got a message with my form completed online.
Currently this time delay is normal?
Or what?

OP : seems to me you were faced with a person choking on his food and you did what u considered necessary to assist in this apparent emergency. He coughed up the food, so you saved him.
You deserve applause not abuse.
