There is a new movie called LION which is the story of an Indian boy who got lost when he was 5 years old, survived on the streets for a year or two, got adopted out to an Australian couple, and finally aged in his late 20's, looked for his family, traveled back to India, and ............ Did he find them or did he not? A great movie

If a driver is found to have driven beyond the time limit, the vehicle must be impounded and all passengers told to get off to board a new van or bus and a new driver must be found,”
An over tired bus driver tried this himself recently and was fined 5,000 baht for being a responsible driver.

. then i did my practical test (perfect) and got the DL ;-)
Could you please tell us all about what had to do for your practical test?

One extra hour of training might give more knowledge but it sure as hell will not improve driving skills one little bit. As for the test; a short drive in a closed off area at low speed is not a driving test worthy of judging skills in traffic.

The 16 year old son of my Thai friend was raped multiple times by a monk. Yeah, religion will fix that right? What a stupid man

367 in 5 days. That's 1 person for every day of the year. Wow. Good job.
Actually, it's 73.4 per day. Yes, maths is really hard for some!

When I was living in Thailand, my Thai friend and I would watch the TV show just for fun. We would both laugh at the incredibly bad grammar and pronunciation by the online teachers.

I have never heard of them. Even with a google search I cannot locate them. What sort of things do they do?

Rather than be weary, I suggest you be wary.

About 27 is the correct number

Ever heard of power steering?
Or, do you think the driver has the strength to turn the wheels?
Firstly, power steering on road going vehicles have been almost always powered by hydraulic assistance. The hydraulic pump being powered by the rotation of the engine.
In recent years, a number of new technologies have been developed whereby either the hydraulic pump is powered by a separate electric motor (not the engine) or by Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) which has an electric motor and torque sensor fitted inside with the steering column and does not use hydraulics at all. I am surprised that any Thai bus company would have a fully electric setup; but hey, good for them if they do.
Regardless; even if the power assistance fails, the driver is still able to steer the bus even though a lot more effort is required. -

Slashes his throat and throws himself out a window, sounds like he was serious.
If he was serious he should have slashed his jugular vein instead of his throat.

Hello Thai authorities. If you want to reduce crime in your country, you need to track Thai people. What was that? You do already? Thanks for that!

crickey ! speeding no doubt .....
The report stated ...Rescue worker Uthai Pollaharn said the bus was fleeing after colliding with a car in the Danmae Kajan area of Chiang Rai....
So I would image the driver was in fact speeding

Establish what profits they made from the false advertising, fine them that amount plus several million $$.
The medical industry is not beyond deception in the name of profits, even though the public would expect better.
It was hardly deception. They would argue that all they did was make it easier for idiots who can't read or were too lazy to read the active ingredients

Another Corporate rort exposed.
It was done purely for marketing purposes. Anyone who cared to read the active ingredients panel already knew they were all the same, just with different packaging. But hey, too many dumb people out there!

Some people just don’t understand our work, and I guess we cannot make everyone understand our work.”
That's a classic.
Col. Sompong Thip-aphakul, head of the Krabi Police Station. We do understand what your work is supposed to be. We just don't understand why you seem to fail at actually doing it. To then start threatening to jail people who highlight your shortcomings is not only immoral, it is probably illegal, even in Thailand.

However I suspect the Australian TV programme will simplistically present the issue as the fault of foreign white sex tourists. This only represents about 1% of the truth.
Surprisingly, it was a bit broader than you expected. It did refer to sex tourists but not exclusively from Australia. It also mentioned that Thai parents are responsible for selling their children and continue to pressure them to stay in prostitution so they can get money from the kids. The guys apparently work with the police on brothel raids but it's clear the police are protecting some brothel owners.

There's a few other changes too.
1. Must provide property rental contract for 3 month extensions. (not sure what's going to happen to foreigners living here without a property rented in their name)
2. Fill out a personal details form for 3 month extension. It asks basic details like address, phone. And also asks your estimated monthly spend in Thailand, contact details in Thailand for someone they can contact to verify your identity, and contact details of a person that financially supports you, if applicable. Also a bunch more personal questions but they said I didn't have to fill that out. I think its only "high risk" countries that do.
These are obviously in direct response to the Bangkok bombing.
Point 1 is stupid. When I was in Thailand for 11 months, I lived with my partner and the rental agreement was only in his name even though I usually paid the rent.

I'm in the bank now
Told them I was disappointed that the bank statements I was sent that I paid £5 for were just printed out and I could have done it myself
However my wife's taken them back to her country so I need it done again with the stamp.
Their colour printer is broken, only printing in black and white. 6 months bank statements double sided about 9 pieces of paper... They said they have to charge £5 again. So I paid
They stamped them and the stamp is with black ink so it looks like they were printed with the stamp already on. The inconsistency of the stamp with ink smeared so on some you can't even see what it says, hopefully they'll be convinced they're genuine.
And you never guess what. After paying £5 they wouldn't even give me an a4 envelope. They just pretended not to have any
Finally.. I asked how much extra it was to have statements sent to my house again (as I opted out to help the environment and all that...)
They said there is no fee !!!! So it's free to send official copies in the post ! But £5 to Print retrospectively in black and white on shitty quality paper. Amazing
It's time to change to a real bank rather than the piggy bank you've got at the moment. Time to name and shame them

The thing is, you are in Thailand and most people speak and write in Thai so if you want a decent website, you are going to have to find some friend who is fluent in Thai to help you. If you only want English sites, be prepared to pay more and have a very limited selection.

Thailand doesnt have a cluture.. unless thuggery is a culture
I disagree strongly. Sure there are thugs in Thailand but they do have a culture. Clearly it's time for you to take a holiday back to your home country for a while.

What the hell are you talking about. Google maps does not require you to download anything. You just need an internet connection and have your GPS turned on.
