  1. The person made his money over 30 yrs, covid made his decision to leave.Just a business deal they wanted to end
  2. One of many, except he got caught and now will get adjustment training or a course.Say sorry will not happen again.Once finished will go back to trying too rip of tourist, but be more careful later on
  3. He has no where to escape ,cost him all or any of his money. To be fair the thais are drunk too and drive.A stay in the bangkok hilton is coming his way now, looking at the scene the rocks were moved as well when reversing
  4. Increase the fines will have some affect, but overall nothing will change.Driving is always a risk in thailand, paying the fines or the accidents
  5. This is common news or knowledge will bangkok be under water in a few years.lots of talk by the experts.Does anyone really know. But floods happen every year in all parts of thailand
  6. From what i know guns are available everywhere in thailand legal and illegal.A farang with a gun anywhere it is gone to the police to keep or sell later. The farang locked up or fined. Not as bad as amercia, but u never know.If you upset a thai be careful he may come back with friends and guns
  7. The bigger clubs, the one in the middle are always busy with farang and thais in the high season.close round 4 am.If they was a fire i know the entrance is very big and people would get out quickly, they would not hang around.safety important of course but I think the club or owner knows this and provides for this other wise many clubs would not be operating sucessfully
  8. Having a meeting drunk with a gabage trunk on a motorbike will not end good for anybody
  9. After 8 yrs thing go up so fares will rise, understand that.Grab have a lot of customers or cars and take away from the taxis. The skytrain has the customers too, plus the motorbike taxi,s .The only thing is the taxis will still run the cars with the meter off or say no meter.A tip is always expected more from the farang than thais. So if you use taxis in bkk you should know the rules, overall if you need transport, the fares are reasonable which ever u chose. when i return jan i will use a motor taxi to find seiko house being they before, but the bike is quick and easy.I will ask the price but a fair price from them, could be return or 1 way.I expect a price maybe of 100 to 200 baht. That is want I expect to pay and jan I will know. The only thing is the motorbike is not for everyone to use as a taxi.
  10. I Know and remember the 500 baht tax machine at the airport before u left or thru customs.Later included in the ticket departure.I thought that included something towards insurance tax or health insurance. The 300 baht extra which they say is for a hospital fund for tourist will be a big earner when tourist return.Don,t know if right but most people do have travel insurance, some don,t of course the reason for begging on go fund me. Most tourist will see it as a increase in arrival tax and they is not much anyone can do.
  11. I know to own land or property in thailand very strict rules.Thai ownership is 51 percent i believe.the rest is the farang. From what i hear in australia they have brought up lots of land for milk etc and now it all goes back to china. What i have read not everyone is very happy about this.So thailand must be careful too.Cambodia sold they soul down sth for big hotels casino,s now, private beaches where before public and very nice to visit.Lots of chinese just staying in the hotel gambling and whatever else.So just be careful in opening the gates for chinese and buying land, just think if some of the islands were sold and then you see a complete chinese resort with hotels and casino,s. not what the tourist trade or thais really want.but a few thais will be rich it for it
  12. That is certainly a big reward, but a 2 billion baht fraud and she is well gone. With that money and she could be anywhere now. Change her name stay off social media do anything not to be caught
  13. For sure f1 in singapore was always a popular event for them and nearby countries. A few friends went to malaysia before had a wicked time there too. They flew from thailand for a short holiday which included the grand prix
  14. How vietnam has changed over the years, very modern and the visa,s are pretty easy to get from what i see from friends who moved from thailand over the years because of the visa,s.Cambodia are doing similar things too
  15. 14 No license, probadly no helmet. On the mobile phone. You see them when school is over and look in the carpark of the school too.The parents buy them a bike, now the parents are sad,who do u blame.I,am sure my friend in udon and her daughter round 12 or 13 now let her use the bike in her village for things, something she did the same at the same age on a bike.Who is at fault when accidents happen
  16. never heard of tomato flu that is a new one
  17. On the phone no license for sure, under age for license anyway.Helmet extra, did the dad buy the bike for her.now he is upset with her death, who do you blame
  18. I thought cnx would be higher as the burning season is not good for clean air. People wear a mask during that time as well
  19. This story may turn out good,or very bad later on.The teachers who control the money maybe the winners we don,t know yet.Very kind to help her but let,s hope it does not bite them on the rear. All that money and the teachers don,t get a baht.Somehow they would expect something in return
  20. I would ask how fast can you go,i have a honda 125 wave. Not that fast but a cement wall will stop you in your tracks fast.If you live to tell the tale that is another story
  21. This will always have support, save the thais travelling to the borders and gamble there. To set it up just look at other countries and those companies involved would love to be in the first stages.malaysian companies or chinese will be the first to knock on they door. Should have happened yrs ago for thailand as their neighbours have allready cashed in on that market
  22. Always worry about a scam,it happens in many countries.Maybe not this case, but i don,t know.Everyone has seen go fund me and please help me.No travel insurance and expect others to bail them out.Be interested to see what happens down the track on this story
  23. Everytime he looks at his hand it will make him think. I,am sure back in kuwait he will be a street racer, when and if he returns
  24. What can you say where did the post come from,or just thai driving gone wrong again
  25. Oh dear he will be up for alot of baht to the family.Whether they all had helmets and 4 on the bike is illegal or no license. All his fault,if you were not in thailand this would not happen. You may as well say u lose everything now.My friend had a bike accident he admitted his fault,he paid everything to fix the bike even if it was not caused by the accident.Would have being cheaper to buy a new scooter for her in his words.Another time a drunk thai hit the pick up,farang husband thai wife.Police said not your fault don,t worry, they found my friends address.everyday come round to say u killed my father or husband. In the end the thai wife said pay them the money £1000 pound and they left them alone. He is now in a no win situation over this
