  1. Hemp should be grown (the no or low THC strain) as an alternative crop for the farmers. The fibre is strong and amongst many users is excellent in the textile industry. and It's easy to grow,.... its a weed after all ...thumbsup.gif

For medical reasons if the facts are true.. sure .. but controled. ....

Chill out everyone .. winters here .... coffee1.gif

I hate to be the one to spoil your day but Hemp, (THC free marijuana) is grown all over Asia.

  2. Really , as a "Farang" in Thailand....... Who gives a damn... When I travel in Bangkok , I know where I am going and I know how long it will take me. I love walking in many places in Bangkok especially around the Yawarat area... and of course Lumpini Park.. I lived for eight and a half years in Sathorn and pretty easy access everywhere .. Everyone and their dog knows that the Thai Civil Service is a joke, but that's the way it is. No Farang needs to live in Bangkok.. we do it from our own free will. But I do feel sorry for many Thais who have to live and work there... Thailand and Bangkok are here to be enjoyed... Happy Halloween to one and all... and please no-one dress as a taxi-driver....... thumbsup.gif

  3. Maoro..... get a grip of yourself... The present government are doing a very good and thankless job.. Do you really think Prayuth wants this job, he should be out playing with his grandchildren and enjoying his retirement, and spending some of his wealth... He has sacrificed his freedom because of his love for his home country, his love of the King, and wanting to stop the bickering of absolutely corrupt politicians bringing Thailand to its knees. There is no easy solution to the absolute corruption in Thailand. It is inbred.

The RTP are hot on the tails of politicians in the corruption stakes, but he is making inroads there. All of us Farangs should wish him well and only hope this government can make some difference. And a better future for Thai peoples.

Or let the Shinewatras and their gang of thieves loose on the Thai taxpayer again... (God save them) wai2.gif

  4. What a joke European leaders are.... I do not know of one single European person ( not coming from a refugee background) That believes Europe should accept one single migrant, refugee or otherwise. All Frenchmen, Germanic, Celtic, Viking, Latins, etc..... would exterminate the whole damned lot ... Women children and men... Our leaders are letting the devil in through our own front door. Time to halt this invasion of our homeland... Do they not learn from ISIS.... Fools every last one of them.... wub.png

  5. And that SUBWAY spokesperson went to Thailand for kids......

There are times when I wish we were back in the Stone Age......or this guy got caught in Mexico by some drug lords, or sent to some secret prison camp for 30-years and then buried....

for all you sickoes......the age is TWENTY-FIVE when a kid's brain is fully mature.....

so next time you are "legal" and talk to an 19-year old as you are 55.......think first.

Errr,,,, sorry puukao, many eighteen year olds are attending University, something that you obviously did not do. And a twenty-five year old is NOT a kid...... What right do you have to deny an eighteen year old the pleasure of sex ?

Whether a boy or a girl .. Surely that's their own choice ? And I believe eighteen years is the legal age here in Thailand.....

And as for "back in the Stone Age", in those days you just took anyone you wanted, a quick blow to the head.. and hey-presto, a partner for the night..... Yes, back to the Stone Age for you....

  6. A beer costs 1.5 euros in Thailand and only 40 cents back home. Cars are cheaper in Europe than here. Fruits and vegetables are more available, free of formaldehyde and much cheaper than here. My electricity bills in Thailand are higher than in my cold home country. The cost of education, well dont get me started there. Clothes or quality appliances are 40% costlier here.

Thailand is not the bargain it was a decade ago. And also, most foreigners are not paying 10k for a hotel room, not in Thailand nor in farang land.

Don't know where your home country is, but by the sounds of it you should go home... I have just been back to the United Kingdom and let me tell you I am so glad to be back in cheap old Thailand... Beer was 5 pounds sterling a pint, Hotels were extortionate as were restaurants, never mind a hooker for the night to keep me warm .... Thank God I do not smoke... Try taking a taxi.... (and you say cars are cheaper) And as for the cost of education , sorry I was educated before I came to Thailand and I don't think Thais could teach me anything except how to steal and cheat. Why would I need to pay for education.? And about formaldehyde, this chemical has been banned from food and vegetables for over 40 years here in Thailand .. Get a life mate... or better still....GO HOME.... Thailand does not need cheap Charlies or Grumblers...

  7. So, whats new.... as sure as there are wives in this world there will always be prostitutes. A man has to get sex somewhere..! And for girls with no education and no idea what to do in life, opening their legs to some stranger is the easy option. Next comes theft, cheating and robbery. Oh, a hookers life is not an easy one. (sung to the tune from Pirates of Penzance, a policemans life)

And as for Mai Jantas excuses... a slut is always a slut and Kleenex will always sell... wiping up the stains of sleeze.... Put three people through University.... I find that hard to swallow... But what would we guys do without them....????

  8. Should be Parliamentary Immunity as in all developed nations unless there is corruption or illegal acts (of which there are NONE in this case - if there are then charge them).

This case is about Absolute corruption....... PTPs rice pledging scheme was from the outset only there for one reason, to line the pockets of Thaksins supporters. He (through his puppet) gave his band of merry men open season to rape this countries coffers. There never has been and never will be another programme such as this which allowed Thaksinites to rape and plunder Thailand... My heart bleeds for the taxpayers who's hard earned cash was looted by Thaksins thieves.

And the poor farmers.... they received less than 10% of the total of the scammed and syphoned moneys... Not only should Yinluck forfeit her assets, but she should be sent to prison for a Very long time.... How the mighty fall, comes to mind... I hope I live to see Thaksin dragged back to Thailand to pay for his crimes....whistling.gif

  9. When will this migration stop..... Send every last one of them home... Why does Europe have borders...wai2.gif Europe is allowing mass migration of murderers, rapists, robbers, cheats, swindlers, and all sorts of evil people.. I have it on good authority that Syria is emptying its prisons and sending all to Europe. And why would they not... And then there is all the do-goodies letting them all in.. welcoming them with open arms. This invasion will come back to haunt Europe... When it's their daughter lying dead on that marble slab, having been raped and murdered by some would be Syrian refugees.... the crows will have come home to roost....! blink.png Beware the Ides of March..!

  10. At long last something is going to be done about absolute corruption. Yinluck has been playing the waiting game for such a long drawn out time because she was hoping to watch this case go the same way as so many others and pass the statute of limitation. Really it's so easy if you follow the money trail. Almost none of the multi-billions of bahts went to the struggling farmers. It went to millers, rice storage facilities, village headmen, MPs, many government officials. Rice was pouring in from surrounding countries, bought at 5 - 6 thousand baht per tonne, and being sold to Yinlucks wonderful government for 15,000 per tonne. That was one hell of a profit. Rice in storage was being sold out the back door. G2G contracts were fake and many government officials raked in the moneys by pretending to sell tonnes of rice to foreign governments at huge discounts while they were really selling this rice on the world markets at the current rice price , therefore making an absolute killing without having to lay out one baht. Corruption breeds corruption and Yinlucks rice scheme was the Daddy of all...... The truth of the matter was that certain very experienced MPs knew that Yinluck was clueless about this style of corruption, she trusted them and believed them. These PTP guys bent her over and really gave it to her good and proper. Gangnam Style..... !!

But ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law... roll your dice and pay your price. Lets all hope she goes to prison for a long time as a lesson in ignorance to all.....

  11. since when are PM's financially liable for failed policy

    let alone collective responsibility

It's not about her being the PM at the time, it was that she made herself chairperson of the rice committee , never attended a meeting, and was advised and told by several administrative bodies that what her party were doing with the rice scheme was unlawful and would cost the country and the taxpayer millions. She paid no heed... and now the piper has to be paid... in full I hope. RIP to all the farmers who committed suicide whilst waiting for their promised moneys..wai2.gif

  12. Thalang is a ghetto..... almost to the man in Thalang everyone has been in prison at some time in his life. From drug dealers to high interest money-lenders thugs, nearly all the jet-ski bike scammers , etc,etc....Old uncle Tom Cobley and all.... Teachers refuse to work there, paramedics are reluctant to drive there... But apart from that it's not a bad place , accommodation is very cheap... and you can have a real fire in your house...

RIP to the youngsters, but a couple of helmets would not have gone amiss....

  13. Let's wait for a conviction first...

but why should cops be paid a reward for just doing their job? Should I have paid the police to have them actually do some leg work to find the theives who broke into my house this year? I'll need to keep that in mind. Remember we gotta pay for them to play...it seems.

All you Farangs still thinking about your safe safe home countries.... Well, surprise surprise, this is NOT your home country, these are not your local friendly cops.. and YES, we do have to pay them "money" to try and solve any crime.

Do any of you moaning guys have any idea what a Thai policeman has for his salary... basic salary is around 8000bahts per month. So come on..... think about it.. wai2.gif

  14. I know Hussain Obama does not have the goolies to sort out this mess, neither does Mr Cameron ... Lets all hope the French put a stop to these Russian jets.. But a few dozen Raptor 22s would help his cause..... come on Hussain, lets find out if these very expensive fighters are worth the moneys..! blink.png
