  1. you do know that Muslims are required to wear beards don't you? but they shave to their mustaches. it's a dead giveaway.
  2. party don't start until around that time. it was hell for my first few days in Paattaya back in December when what free bars that were serving alcohol had to shut early. lucky someone introduced me to speakeasy then it was 5AM finishes ????
  3. pointless comment. as has been stated many, many times before on here it depends on the airport and perhaps even the individual check-in staff. it was most definitely a requirement when I came in on TG476 ex-SYD recently. in fact they had a Thai lady walking the queue pre-checking that everyone had the required documents. at least one person wasn't aware of the onward ticket rule and had to go off somewhere to rectify. I had come prepared with my twelve dollah "onwardflight" and of course had no such problems.
  4. why's that then, you jealous that people are having fun and you're stuck in a shack in E-saaaaan? ????
  5. me French? no, just having a laugh. it was something an old work colleague used to say.
  6. oh, I thought I had you on ignore. I do that with most of the OAPs and curmudgeons. oh well, easily rectified.
  7. you haven't p!ssed anyone off yet. fark around and find out ????
  8. I'm not racist, I hate all races equally ????
  9. you flew with Deathstar? the good ol' Bogan Express...
  10. too bad the beach ain't anywhere near as good as an Aussie beach ????
  11. B800 is still a very reasonable price for a 41 km trip. that's only 22 bucks. real dollars, not Pacific Pesos.
  12. identifying as a cat is a sh!t ton better than identifying as a thaivisa grumpy old man ????
  13. takes one to know one ????
  14. Phuket taxi price has always been higher than Bangkok. pointless comparing the two, it is what it is.
  15. sounds like me trying to back in or out of a park. I kept bumping into things so eventually just gave up the car and started catching the bus again ????
  16. no consolation at all sir. I've read a little bit about what's happening in Europe and I pity them. it boggles the mind that were expected to show tolerance to and intolerant ideology that seeks to convert us, kill us, or enslave us. or if we're lucky we could get away with paying jizyah tax. I've never had the misfortune to live in a full-on Islamic State like Saudi or Iran but I did live in Jakarta for about 12 months all up over the years. also spent a tiny amount of time in hardcore Malaysian towns, eg. Kota Bahru. that gave me a tiny glimpse into how insufferable it would be to live under the control of the Caliphate. hopefully Thailand doesn't lose its nerve like the West and open up their doors to full-scale immigration ????
  17. sounds like you've never actually lived amongst his kind of people. I have, for 40 years, and I can assure you that their allegiance lies with their ancestral home and not where they have lived their whole lives. I came to Thailand to escape the sleeper cells that are starting to overrun the south west of Sydney. the deciding factor was when the counter-terrorism unit arrested a self-proclaimed sheikh who lived around the corner and who was plotting to behead tourists in the street.
  18. I think you should change the title to "involuntary wealth redistribution". or "Robin Hood's spirit lives in the Colonies" ????
  19. about time the oppressed stood up to the 0.1% who have stolen their dreams.
  20. no miscomprehension on my part. there's a difference between poor quality and the good stuff. not up to the individual.
