    funny you should say that because a similar thing happened recently in Bali to an Aussie mum of one when she "just popped out" to get something for bubba. Aussie news reported that she was "an experienced motorcycle rider with a valid International Driving Permit". that don't mean jack around these parts.

    I get the same in Bangkok, the signal quite often drops to 4G or 4G+ using 12Call. 5G chews through the juice so I'm in the habit of turning power saver on. Sammy S22+. great phone but sucky battery life. also 5G is pointless if the server ain't feeding you the data all that quickly. Google Play Store I'm looking at you. their CDN must be in Ulan Bator because often it's better to connect to a VPN if you have a large number of updates.

    as mentioned many times, your regular travel insurance should be sufficient. you just need them to give you a Travel Certificate or a letter confirming that you're covered for Covid for to US$10K. if you choose to travel without said insurance then sorry I can't help you anymore.
