if he's trying to boot off of the SSD then the BIOS could be an issue. I had that problem with an NVMe SSD that I was trying to boot Windows 8 from. I had to manually patch the BIOS with a mod I found on the internet which thankfully didn't bring the laptop.

I use Brave browser for Android. It has an experimental dark mode that works for most of the websites I visit. Sometimes it won't render properly and you have to revert to normal mode temporarily but for me it's worth it. The white background does my eyes in too.

I think soccer is a god-awfully boring sport but I do like the atmosphere of the World Cup, it brings people together. Well except for that debacle in Saffer land with those silly poo-poo-zelas or whatever they're called, I couldn't watch more than a few minutes of that. Plus I was in Australia and we had to suffer that boring old Martin Tyler fella droning on and on ???? However it's now just a money game and that price tag is just silly.
