No, not true. Those in high risk area around the man would have to quarantine, and no, insurance will not cover. And since beds have been booked already for 14 days there are no additional beds booked.
Can delete please didnt read properly.

One of your other options would be to freight it via a shipping or Air Freight company.
Have a look on google for your local area for shippers.
Hope it helps

OK, what about travel from Heathrow to your hotel in Scotland?
Unless you are flying into a Scottish Airport you will not get a Scottich Government Quarantine hotel.
There are seperate websites for Scottish airports and English airports to book if required. Also if you transit through Dubai which is red or any other red countries then its Forced Quarantine.
If you fly into Heathrow from Red country you will be quarantined in a UK pre booked Hotel. You have to pre book when travelling from Red country and prove payment. If you fly direct without booking hotel and are required to Quarantine in hotel it will be pot luck. Have 2 friends that recently did this without booking and they ended up being driven by Coach to Birmingham. Took them 7 hours on bus with no toilet facilites to the quarantine hotel.

Not being funny but did you read what you wrote before hitting send.
You are still going on vacation...you will still be entering phuket so you will still have to follow the rules. You will atill be classed as a toursit due to the fact you are not Thai. Even if you were thai you would still have to follow the sandbox rules if coming from anywhere outside Phuket.
Because you have been an Ex pat in thailand for 5 years deosnt give you any sepcial privileges.

No ones welcome and no ones likely to go. You don't achieve her immunity through taking something that lessens your symptoms. You achieve immunity by being immune!
They don't have any data on the long-term immunity these type of vaccines may provide.
In fact the data is that they last approx 3 months and then you will require a booster jab. Thats probably why the UK has ordered 500m doses last year for their 40m adults.!
So they dont have any data on the long term immunity....but then again they do have data and it says will only last 3 months before booster needed ?
Which is it and where are you getting the info from ?
Facts only please otherwise stop scaremongering.

Problem is that Thailand is no where near herd immunity through vaccine and an influx of tourists could accelerate the virus, particularly given that Thailand has attracted a large number of Indian tourists of late. The Delta/Indian variant spreads much faster and Thailand has yet to experience a major Covid crisis.
But it’s encouraging to know that “dirty farangs” are now welcome in Thailand.
Delta Plus variant now in India watever that means...

I am pfizer vaccinated and fully insured I wont accept tests to any holiday destination
Guess you defiently not going to Thailand then, thats your choice. Many other people are in the same boat with Double vaccinations but they will still take the tests as there is no guarantee even with your Pfizer vaccination that you cant catch covid. I know a few people who have been double vaccinated and due to work needed to take a test to discover they were positive with no symptoms.

You forgot too the Valid Visa you will need to get from the Embassy as well. At this time is there tourist visa being issued? Surely this will take some time if your not in a city with a Thai Embassy.VOA is still a valid option as long as you fit the other criteria. VOA valid for 45 days changed from 30 to allow the extra 14 days Quarantine,

What's the point of getting vaccinated if you still have to have 4 covid tests ?
Because even when you are vaccinated you can still catch and transmit covid. It just leesens the symptomns and effects. This has been said many times and is general common knowledge.

There is no need for anyone to keep one of these breeds of dog.
Why ? Because you say or think so ? whats your point ?
People keep dogs for many reasons. You could say that to 90% of the dogs around as they are all dangerous unless looked after and trained.

Certain breeds need to to phased out as they have been in Germany (they chose the wrong breeds, but that is by the by).
Dogs should be chipped and wormed
Owners should have to pay a license fee that covers training for both them and their dog (mainly for them).
No dogs should be caged like in the photo.
All dogs should have a ID collar and, when in public, be on a lead.
Any dogs not conforming to all the above should be impounded and re-licensed to new owners or destroyed.
Good luck with the above.
Lets not stop at certain breeds though lets gather up all soi dogs or dogs on the street and have them euthanised.
This problem has stemmed from Thai people getting animals and not looking after them regardless of the species. Leaving them run free after the puppy stage because they get to big. Some of these soi dogs are just as viscious. Lets start fining people that go around moo bans feeding street dogs as they are also part of the problem.
There are people who look after their dogs and im sure they would appreciate better rules as well as some of the above..
How would you suggest dogs are caged then ? Give them their own house with on suite toilet ? A cage is a cage and better in a cage at certain times and ensuring the cage is the relevant size for the dog.
There is no scope or room for impounding and re homing dogs.....there are not enough facilities and the facilities there are generally are charities like Soi Dog in Phuket.

The fact that you've had the vaccine won't stop you bringing/carrying a new variant. It will reduce the chance of passing it on greatly but not completely.
The vaccine protects you from getting seriously ill, some better than others.
Correct it wont stop you brining a new variant however the PCR test that you are still required to take will give that confidence and stop vaccinated carriers from travelling.
Its not rocket science now is it. Plus the PCR test you are still required to take when in Thailand will also enforce this

Curious to your point above saying they are an asset to any country. Majority of these people have little money and bring relatively little to a country. They use the country for low cost of living and survivability, dont pay tax and generally i dont see that as an asset to any country.
I doubt that many of these will be brining in the required $40,000.00 nevermid the $80,000.00 a year.
Maybe you could explain your reasoning ?

If you want to go back to the UK its easy enough to return to Thailand.
First there is the UK quarantine (self isolation) - upon arrival you must travel to your destination and stay inside for 10 days and take two Covid-19 RT PCR test (on arrival in the UK you’ll need to show evidence of having booked these ‘postal’ tests - also a PCR test before departure from Thailand).
With Regards to your point on UK Self Isolation. Please be aware that if you Transit through a red country within the 10 days prior arrival into UK then this is classed as RED and you will incur 10 days hotel isolation.
A couple of the main routes back are via Turkey and Dubai which are both red so this would mena no self isolation at home. As detailed below.
If you have also been in or through a country or territory on the red list in the 10 days before you arrive in England, you must follow the red list rules.

So simple and lets face it there is no chance of anyone forging or copying these.....lol

Not many countries offering 1 year visa's for thailand especially the UK down to 3 month single entry for Non - O on strength of marriage.

The entire Thai vaccination plan was based on using locally produced vaccine despite the obvious long lead time needed for that. It is only within the past month that they have belatedly started to scrounge around to purchase and import vaccine. As far as I know the local production scheme remains the main plan.
So 3.5 milion people are going to be unlucky and get sinovac as im sure a few more will. Also the effects on travel could be a serious implication. Mind you its ok for the government and officials already vaccinated as they had the choice.
If 1 person gets the choice then it should be open to all.
Its hard but it should be fair.
If it was me id rather wait till i could get the vaccone that i believe would be more beneficial to myself. And i have advised my wife of that i would rather pay for Private injection for wife and family if they are being forced to take what they are given.

Anutin has stated that people cannot choose which vaccine they have due to the concern over side effects of the shots, presumably Sinovac.
I have also been told this by my wife strange how all the government officials had the choice and got AZ now everyone else in thaland being told take what you are given.
A load of tripe people should have the choice.
Whats good for 1 is good for all but not in this case apparently.

There are many posts on this. Opening a bank account depends on the Branch you go to a lot of banks will open account without all the paperwork above some will ask for more.
Best suggestion unless you want to go through the process with immigration is try different banks and take a Thai speaker with you.
When opened my account no paperwork was neccesary just passport and wife details.
Hope this helps

The clear point in testinG vaccinated people is that they can still carry and pass on without having symptomns. While they wont get as sick the fact that they can pass to unvaccinated is the concern.
